My husband and I had been Friday night regular delivery customers for 17 years... We moved away almost 6 years ago. Im in town,... so I decided to order. Holy $hit! Its even better than I remembered. This was our absolute favorite thing to eat. RD, you havesomething so incredibly special. This for me, with out a doubt is the absolute best pizza,ever! As pictured its: mediumpepperoni, extra cheese cooked well done with a side of marinara. I lost my husband this summer to a motorcycle accident whilehe was in Sturgis. I've seen many ppl post about other pizza spots on community social media pages but Red Devil is our go to. Not the cheapest... pizza but worth every cheesy penny. We order here at least 1 to 2 times a month. We have never had a bad experience withdelivery or pick up and our pizzas have all been delicious!!!!! They are generous with toppings and they have good hot wings aswell. The guys here have always been kind and although it's small and hot as heck in there they are always pleasant and workingtheir tails off. Thank You Red Devil for your consistency. TLDR: Family-owned, this is one of the best pizza restaurants in the SG Valley. Dine in or take out available. This is not a... chain restaurant so the other "red devil" pizza places are not affiliated. However, the Upland location has a similar logo sothere may be a connection. I've not asked. Red Devil Covina serves good sized pizzas in the style that most Californians havefamiliarity. Dough is stretched across thin pans, spread with a tasty tomato sauce, then topped with a good amount of cheeseand your topping(s) of choice. The pizza oven is large with a circular conveyance so the pizza's come out with a crisp bottomand chewy texture. I like their pizzas and rate them above most you will find in the San Gabriel Valley. We've eaten inside inthe past and ordered a green salad with the pizza which is fresh. The dining room is unimpressive but serves it's purpose. They have a large banquet room that is perfect for a large group. Read more
A group of friends and I came here for lunch, on the recommendation of one who grew up in Covina. Red Devil did not disappoint!... The dining area is quaint and welcoming. The staff and service are outstanding. And the food (especially the Cheese Breadsticks)is phenomenal. I can see why they have been serving happy customers for generations. Hands down one of my favorite pizza joints. Don't be deceived, there's a few Red Devil pizza places, I discovered they're not... all operated by the same owners . Clean, comfortable environment with a private space for parties and events. A small arcadearea to keep the kids busy while I enjoy a draft beer and watch the game on the flat screens mounted around therestaurant. Staff are polite, service is quick.
