Man?this place was pretty bad. I ordered the lettuce wraps for all of the yummy toppings (ie. pickled onions, tomatillo salsa,... and carrots), but I didn?t receive any of those toppings. Just a bunch of cheese and dry cabbage?to put on top of the drychicken. Not just dry. It was completely void of moisture. It was the consistency of jerky. The corn soup had the consistency ofloose mashed potatoes. Lol. An epic waste of $40. Horrible. Sad. Pathetic. Now I have to go to Del Taco?because we?re stillhungry. Read more
I only gave one star because our waiter was great attentive and tryed to fix everything that was wrong. We first ordered drinks... and the Pepsi was horrible the bloody Mary my mom order was horrible it was not even a bloody Mary! I don't even know what thebartender was trying to Make. Then we ordered our food and the meat in the short rib sandwiches were burned and soo dry and hadno flavor! My husband ordered a burger and it tasted Like freezer burn. I will not be returning. Oh and on another note it'ssoooo LOUD in there it's ridiculous! It's not a night club! But if u want bottled beer and to listen to loud music then thismight be your kinda spot! Read more

This last weekend I took my mom on a mother - son date of downtown Covina. This establishment was actually our unintentional... third and final stop of the evening as the venue I normally enjoy a nightcap at was booked for the night. As this place was nearwere we parked we thought why not give em a shot. We came in and it was a very busy Friday night, however we were promptlyseated in a booth. Truth be told I had only intended to enjoy a nightcap to end our evening but we ended up enjoying desert aswell. Firstly, as to our drinks. My mother enjoyed their delicious watermelon crawl, and I had a hankering for a white Russian.The server we were fortunate to have was professional and on point. As stated before we ended up enjoying desert which was theirtake on a warm mixed berry pie that didn't disappoint. All in all a enjoyable place to satisfy our evening with no realcomplaints. Super nice patio. Both times I?ve come I?ve been taken care of & had great experiences. 1st time they forgot my chicken Cesar... salad, and the owner was overly apologetic. We really wanted to like this place... its close, it looks really nice, its fresh, well decorated and very clean. But there... was a lot of issues. I don't pretend to know everything about bars... but... I have lots of experience... I ran bars andnightclubs in London and Ireland, me and my brother turned dive rundown bars into profitable bars. We got wrong orders, wrongdressing for a salad...and one entre at least 7 minutes before the other. The food was just ok... nothing great, nothingterrible... I would guess liquid fire on the meat? Please correct me if I am wrong. Ordered a salad that came with meat baconeggs... I asked for all 3 to be excluded which they were, but nothing was substituted, which made the salad look very bland. Then the dressing was forgotten. The other salad came with the wrong dressing. The staff were really friendly andapologetic, which got the place 3 stars... I am hoping this is teething problems as a new owner just took over... but they areissues that need to be addressed before its too late. They need experience there, and they ate lacking that, the staff do theirbest, but seem young and lacking any good leadership. Long winded I know...
