The food was delicious, the meat was very... tender/juicy unlike other places we've visited where the meat is dried out. So I skimmed the one star reviews for fun. All nonsense Karens. This place is modern but also old school feel. Remember when a... restaurant was run by people invested in the business. Real people doing a real job that means something to them. Tonight weordered a gyro dinner and gyro wrap. A bit of a wait but they were polite and friendly and real. This is our go to shawarma place and we have been going here for maybe 4-5 years. We love the taste of everything. Lately our... last 2 or 3 times we ordered chicken plates the meat had been very minimal compared to how it used to be. The chicken servingsare small and the meal has many small crispy pieces of skin that have no meat. Also the potatoes haven't been fully cooked. Illgive them another try but if it continues to be the same result ..sadly might have to find a new place. We recommend this placeto everyone. Very good authentic middle eastern restaurant! Excellent food at a reasonable cost. Ordered chicken shawarma plate. Big portion,... lots of great sauces added and tasted amazing. Best Shawarma in Durham Region. This is real, fresh food. Meat is cut right off the spit. They pickle their own fresh vegetables... and ingredients are high quality. My favorite is a large chicken shawarma with everything and garlic sauce, hummus, tzaziki,and pita chips. Best kept secret in Oshawa/Courtice. Read more

Truly great experience at this unassuming gem. 1. Decor was surprisingly nice to dine in 2. Prices were very reasonable. 3.... Falafel was made fresh (none of that pre-fried business) 4. The woman there was lovely and helped to explain some of the coolproducts and spices they sell. If I lived in the area, would be there all the time. Read more
