Good food, great service and great atmosphere. Recently completely remodeled. And I must mention they have a great bar with a... wide variety of drinks at reasonable prices. I must admit I'm always looking for a great deal. "Taco Tuesday" here can't be beatanywhere in the Verde Valley. $6 for 3 fullsize tacos with rice and beans!!! You'll see me there every Tuesday. Delicious!! Plaza has always been a favorite of ours! My kids love it, we love it, and it's always a great time! The new... renovation makes the experience even better. It's very open and welcoming now. Their seafood enchiladas are so good, and while Iwas pregnant I craved their shrimp cocktail once a week. Highly recommend for anyone who is stopping through our town. Skip thecraziness in Old Town, and check this place out! Read more
I went with some other people. They were able to make me what I asked for the shrimp was okay but not the quality I was... expecting. A couple people I was with got oily stomachs afterwards. It had been years since I have been there the portions aresmaller and the price is way higher. They put barely any rice and beans on your plate. The drinks that the others at my tablegot that were alcoholic were mostly ice. I don't plan on going here again. Read more
Plaza Bonita provides a great atmosphere for a nice meal. Their decor is modern and tasteful. Our booth was roomy and... comfortable. I was informed the restaurant had been remodeled recently. Chips and salsa were served quickly after seating,shortly after the meal and drinks' menus were provided, along with the table service. A multi-page drink menu had lots ofoptions; however soft drinks were our order. The food menu also had multiple pages having a wide selection of appetizers, shortorders, and a comprehensive list of combinations and house specialties. It's definitely worth a visit to receive a wholesomemeal. Prices are fair considering the quality and serving amount. We were greeted immediately and seated. The restaurant was hoppin'. Within 15 seconds (I'm not kidding), we had chips, salsa... and bean dip on our table. I requested hot salsa, that took another 15 seconds. Our waiter Esau was so much fun. He wasattentive, prompt, so kind. He offered good suggestions. The minute our chip basket was empty, more appeared thanks to thesupport crew wearing red polo shirts. Drinks were big, cold and happy hour priced! This was the first restaurant I ate at when we first moved out here. Loved it then and it has only gotten better over time! ... Great service has been a staple of this place. For the last 15 years we visit this place 4-5 times a month for the great food,a quick drink, celebrations, or at times for a quick dessert. The staff and owners always make us feel so welcomed!!
