Just had an absolutely outstanding meal at Merkin Vinyards Osteria. Best gnocchi I have ever had in my entire life! Hands... down..... Not only is the restaurant owned by Maynard, but the wine served are the fruits of his labor of love. The wine wasfantastic and the food was truly top notch. All of the food and wine is local farm to table, so it was all grown and made withcare and respect, and you can taste it. I'm so glad I finally got a chance to try it after hearing about it for quite sometime. I will definitely visit again whenever I come back to Jerome! Read more
Starting out the fresh baked bread and garden salad was delish, but I'm not sure what happened with our entree?? We ordered... Gnocchi with chicken. The chicken was burned and tasted like burnt grease, the flavors of the gnocchi were also bland; Iexpected rich and cheesy. It was like 2 completely different meals from different places. Read more
Stopped in here last weekend and the food was amazing. We had been wine tasting around town and really wanted some food and... stopped in here. We had the gnocchi and it was amazing and so was the bread. Then started to read about the place and how thepasta and bread are all homemade and man could you tell.
