Most Denny's are known overall as low quality but this one in Cottonwood is fantastic. Nathan was a great server and the food is... good here. Place is top notch, in good shape, and clean! When you're finding a place for food at midnight on a Tuesday, you don't expect much. However, I was so pleasantly surprised by... Denny's (this being my first time ever trying it!). Our server was so kind, very attentive, and went the extra mile to make ourlate night stop very enjoyable. Jen was absolutely wonderful and a great representation of the Denny's franchise. Horrible experience, again. Anyone would think this place should be desperate for faithful customers at this point. Our waitress... was kind, but we were charged extra four times, and we weren't notified of any of them upon ordering. The floor manager, Jen,was so disrespectfully rude. We will NEVER come back to our local Denny's, which is so very disappointing. Bring your businessto ANY other local, family owned diner, and you're sure to get way better service, with legit, fair prices. Read more
We usually come in as a group of 6. Today there looked to only be 2 servers and they were trying to take care of 8 or 9 tables.... Marti and the other waitress were so kind. For me the best burger in Cottonwood is at Denny's. They are made with fresh meat, not frozen. The meat fits the bun. I've... never had a bad burger here. Ate here again, 8/17 and our server Christi was great. We asked about turning up the air becauseit was blowing right on us, making both us and our food cold. She had had another complaint just before us, so she took care ofit right away. I've never had bad service here, even tho sometimes they are shorthanded and busting their behinds to take careof everyone. Thanks again for good food and good service. Read more
Jessica Foster is a wonderful waitress. She was very patient, efficient, and attentive in our wants and needs. The food was... fresh and hot. I've been eating here for close to 20 years, it's had its ups and downs as expected; however, the service I received yesterday... was terrible. I work nights so dinner for me is late at night. I tried to place an order online around 1230am but the websitesays orders can't be placed after 11 pm. So I called the restaurant. I was greeted by a server named Christian who told me theycannot take phone orders after 10 pm so the only way I could order food would be to go into the store and order in person, whichI did. When I arrived, after waiting at the counter for several minutes, I was able to speak to Christian who was seated atthe bar/ counter area. He proceeded to tell me he was on break and that he could not help me or place my order for another 11minutes. I stood around and waited and I finally asked if I could tell him my order so I could run to the gas station and comeback. He said he would write it down but couldn't "put it in the system" till he was off his break. I ordered nachos and anorder of fries. I left, came back, paid for my order, and went home. When I unpacked my food to share with someone else, Inoticed the French fries weren't even the amount you'd get with a side order. There were 11 in a small box. At this point I wasfrustrated and no longer wanted to deal with it so a family member called and spoke to Christian, he was very rude to my familymember on the phone and told her "It's 2 a.m. I'm the morning what do you want me to do about it?! I don't control the portionsizes". We were aware of what time it was and we work night shifts and this business is open 24 hours for a reason. When askedfor the manager's name he said he was not going to give it to her and that if she wanted to talk to the manager she could callback tomorrow and request to speak to them, she did ask his name and after a long pause, he finally gave it.
