Stumbled onto this place on accident and glad we did. It was an awesome experience. We were seated right away, pretty amazing... for a busy sunday morning, plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. The service was over the top exceptional. I saw at least 12staff on the floor, they worked well together, had their system in place and it worked. I had the pumpkin pancakes, so fluffyand delicious, would definitely return next time I'm in the area!! Read more
This restaurant is super cute, but also very small inside. Good thing they have patio seating, except for all the flies. The... server was cool af, though i dont remember her name. We were in cottonwood to celebrate my besties bday and this restaurantlooked delicious so we tried it out. The croissant was so delicious, esp w the spread that accompany it. We also had the mimosaflight which was amazing. My fiance ordered the chicken and waffles and i had the enchilada plate, we also shared some berry mixcrepes. Everything was delicious, especially the crepes. The bestie had a burrito and she seemed to like it. As delicious asthis was i was a bit disappointed when i didnt get a plate full of traditional mexican enchiladas, but still good. Read more
My wife and I (and friends) made the drive to Cottonwood this past Sunday and had breakfast at the Crema Craft Kitchen + Bar.... Wow, what a treat! Chef Michelle has assembled quite an amazing menu of her handmade favorites. Should you find yourselfstruggling to pick an entree, might I recommend starting with a ?Flight of Mimosas? or their ?Haunted Bloody? mary. We eachchose one of her ?Trademarks? - Breakfast Tacos, Chorizo Gravy & Biscuits, and The Traditional. In the end, our spirits werelifted, our bellies were full, and we were 100% satisfied. We had a great experience at Crema. We wandered in without really knowing what to expect while visiting Cottonwood. Waitress was... great and sitting in the courtyard was very nice! The burger was fantastic with great local ingredients and my wife, aconnoisseur of sorts when it comes Bloody Marys, really enjoyed hers here. Recommended if you are checking out old townCottonwood! Eat here!!! The food was absolutely fantastic. I got the breakfast tacos, my boyfriend got the blueberry pancakes with egg and... sausage. Sooo tasty! Not only was the food incredible, but so was the service. We had Jessica and she was such a wonderfulwonderful server. So kind and checked up on us. I really wanted to like this place. It had such potential and the reviews made it seems like a sure thing.. but this place was... far from it. To be fair, we did attend this restaurant on the heels of a biker rally, perhaps the staff was overwhelmed with theamount of patrons but it really didn't feel crowded. I don't have anything good to say about the food. I was with a group of 7people and none of us finished our meals and nobody raved about theirs. I ordered the red velvet chicken and waffles. I know, myfault for being adventurous but I had high hopes.. I think they over cooked the chicken by about 30 minutes, that would explainwhy the food took so long. Thankfully they brought syrup with my meal otherwise the chicken wouldn't have been edible, I had todrench the chicken in the syrup to eat it. The red velvet waffle in theory sounded good but it wasn't. It didn't taste like redvelvet or a waffle. It probably should be removed from the menu especially at $14+. I should have sent the meal back immediatelybut I didn't want to be the only one not eating so I suffered through a few bites of each. The waitress asked if I wanted a Togobox and I believe my response was " god no"! Lol.. my girlfriend didn't fair any better. She ordered the eggs Benedict, I don'tknow if the kitchen staff had ever heard of eggs Benedict before cause what they brought her was far from it.. the eggs on topare supposed to have runny yolk... Hers didn't. They were hard boiled.. it's also supposed to be accompanied by hollandaisesauce which it wasn't. She did complain to the waitress about the overcooked eggs but the waitress informed her that usually thecooks under cook the eggs, like that was some sort of attempt to comfort her.. she didn't offer to have it remade or remove itfrom our bill.
