Stopped here for a late Sunday dinner. It was my first time ever eating at a Popeyes, and my girlfriend hadn't eaten at one in... years since living on the East Coast. The food was hot, fresh, and the chicken was great. The lady working the drive thru waspolite, patient, and had great customer service. I would like to start off by saying I have never had any visit to a restaurant be so horrific. I witnessed no patience with... customers at all including rushing to be handed the money for the order while said customers were counting to make sure theywere holding enough. When I received my food the first thing that caught my eye was the Mac and cheese looked like it had baconin it through the lid. this wasn?t the case it turned out to be burnt cheese stuck together next the spicy chicken sandwich Ipulled out was even the spicy I had received a normal chicken sandwich to which I was going to pay no mind too until I took abite and the whole thing was over done the breading crumbled like it was dust and as if it had been burnt. And for $11.71? I?mgenuinely upset over this as a restaurant you should be able to get more than just the drink on an order correct especially atalmost $12 for the order. A vast improvement over their opening period . I have come back a few times and it's gotten better every time. My most recent... visit was the best yet. The crew was super friendly. They didn't mind answering my questions and they were super amenable aboutthe whole interaction. Also, these are people who enjoy working together, and you can tell by their interactions, theirattitude, and the quality of the food . Speaking of the food, it was great. My chicken sandwich didn't have a skimpy chickentender on it. Oh no, it had a full, juicy chicken breast on it. Just the right amount of sauce and some delicious pickles. Thetenders and nuggets were the same. I didn't have 10 pieces of bread and tendons, I had a very full portion of seasoned, juicy,meaty deliciousness. ETA: We tried Popeyes again and purchased a $55 meal. There weren't enough pieces of what we wanted so they gave us spicy.... Coleslaw was partially filled & biscuits were hard. We ate just a few pieces & discarded the rest. I wanted to mention thatwhile we were waiting(for some time) for our order at the window there was what appeared to be the manager & another employeetalking to a woman in her car right in front of us(we had to drive around to leave) & she was using a mod/vape the entire timewe waited. My child has lung disease so this was pretty gross to be near. This might be a new place but hiring help from otherstores appears to bring in what people were excited to see be different about this store. We aren't going back. I like thisplace. The employees are pretty nice with a couple exceptions, maybe when they're busy. We usually get great food but the otherday we seemed to get chicken breading crumbs rather than the actual pieces. I don't often rate fast food and this was my first time actually going inside a Popeyes (rather than drive-thru). Restaurant was... clean and the person taking my order could set the standard for taking orders in a fast food restaurant. My spicy chickensandwich was perfect and my kids food was just as is should be. I recommend this Popeyes. Read more

6 cars ahead of me as I pulled in, 50 minutes later I have the order. There must be a more proficient way to serve chicken. $53... bucks spent. The issue was I ordered mashed potatoes with gravy in a separate container. They sent it out with gravy on it so Iasked if they could fix it. The manager came out and asked for the bad potatoes back and said he would would fix it no worries.Next they realized there were no more sides available so we needed to wait. A few minutes later a person came to window with asmall individual mashed I sent it back they were replacing a family mashed, she caught heavy attitude rolled eyes went off cameback with them and a huge attitude. The person at the window was super nice and seemed embarrassed by there co workers attitude. Maybe the slow drive thru is planned to make them seem busier than they are kinda like a night club that creates a line. Friendly staff and great food! The Cottage Grove Popeyes seems to be the talk of the town and it?s been that way for months!... I?m happy to say that all the hype was well deserved! We dined in and overall our experience was very good. The lobby was fairlyclean though there were lots of crumbs on the floor mainly because when someone leaves there?s no time before another personcomes to fill the void. The staff was very friendly and helpful despite having a never ending hoard of hungry customers both inthe restaurant and in the drive thru, they even made regular trips around the lobby asking if customers needed anything. Iordered a 3pc Chicken tender combo and was pleased to find they had given me more than 3 (I?m not sure if this was in purpose ora mistake but it?s a plus in my book :) ) pricing is about the same as any other fast food join nowadays so no drawbacks thereeither.
