Sadly to say, this is really bad Chinese food at a bad price. I have given this restaurant a fair chance and went there... multiple times, but the only good thing on the menu is the cream cheese puffs. The entrees are flavorless, soggy, and barelyhave any meat in them. The restaurant is not open for dine-in and they have junk laying all over the place. It was likethey're using the restaurant as a storage facility. I would recommend to the owners that they go taste good food at The RedPepper or P.F. Chang's, or Ping's and compare the taste and presentation to their own restaurant to understand the difference inquality. Just a few months ago, their prices were from the 90's so you really couldn't complain. But they have raised almostall of their prices recently, so it's not worth it anymore. It is shocking they have a 4.1/ 5 rating. My best guess for thehigh rating is that either (A) the restaurant used to be good or that (B) the people who frequent there don't venture much outof Cottage Grove. Read more
Always fast and wonderful service, fresh food, and the BEST around! The food is always excellent. They have the best fried rice,... egg foo yung, chow mein, and lo mein around. The owners are original, and they are always welcoming and personable. They alwaysmake a special order for our 6 yr old of broccoli since he was very young. They go out of their way to ensure you get what youordered. I've been eating here for 40 years, and will continue to as they can't be beat! This is my first time ordering from this place, and probably my last. We called in an order, asking questions about some of the... dishes and what was in it. The lady did not know what was in any dish we asked. The menu online wasn't very helpful. When we gotto the restaurant, a guy was standing there writing into a notepad. He didn't look up once, or greeted us. We stood for sometime before even being acknowledged. I didn't feel that good about this place at this time anymore. We received our food, ChiangSi entree and Tom Moy fried rice. The stir fried entree was flavorless and didnt look appetizing. The fried rice was good, andof course really oily. They have amazing chicken fried rice. And the lo mein was great! All in all a good place to get some takeout
