5 Stars for service. The crew was really nice and attentive; the place, ambience and decor are top notch. We had tapas, so I... have yet to try their steak. The three tapas I really liked and would recommend are, the eggplant, the grilled beef tongue andthe patatas bravas. The cocktails were on point!. Some suggestions would be have larger tables (too little space for privacy foran upscale restaurant) and maybe some music matching the Spanish theme. Read more
Was very excited for these tapas but unfortunately a majority of them were just not what we expected, especially for the price... they are charging. They often seemed incomplete and unbalanced. For example, the uni scrambled egg had the smallest piece of uniand some cheap salmon roe with just decent tasting scrambled eggs underneath, not worth the price at all. Party of 6 went for dinner on a Wednesday evening in July. We had an outdoor reservation and were seated quickly upon arrival.... We started with a bunch of tapas, and they were all pretty good. I especially liked the lamb meatballs. Then, we had a steak anda seafood paella to share, followed by churros. Food was okay, some of the steak was real good. Service was a bit slow, butfriendly. This is the best meal I've had in a long time, and that is saying something because I used to live in Chicago and have been to... some great restaurants. We were lucky enough to walk in on a Saturday night and only have a short wait to get 2 seats at thebar. The bartender was very attentive to us even though she was so busy. Both cocktails I had were interesting and delicious,along with being beautiful. The tapas style made it easy to order just a of couple things at a time and enjoy them before movingon to something new. This place is fantastic. Exactly what I?m looking for to score some delicious, authentic tapas. From the pan con tomate to the... gambas, it had everything I was looking for and it all tasted fantastic. They seem to really push a wide variety of alcohol andcocktails, but didn?t offer quite as much Spanish wine as I would expect. In the end, it?s a bit of a Spanish/Steak/CraftCocktail spot that I?m sure most will love. Shoot, I?d buy tickets to a show nearby just to have an excuse to sneak in to Vacafor a bite. It is an upscale place with prices to match. Space indoors is a bit narrow, I expect it can be quite loud whenbusy. Res recommended. Read more
My fiance and I came here to celebrate our new jobs and we were blown away. The food was unbelievable, I think this is the best... steak I've ever had in my life. Getting to pick your own steak from the case is a real treat. We also got a couple of tapaswhich were delicious. She got the Paella, which was a huge portion and absolutely loaded with all kinds of meats. The rice wascooked to perfection. Service was great, ambiance is lovely, I think my only complaint was our table was pretty small andwobbly, not ideal given the price of the meal, but a minor gripe at most. If you're celebrating or trying to impress someone,this is the place to go. We'll absolutely come back for sure. I may go try and find another job just so I've got an excuse toback ???? Read more
Great selection of tapas that are mostly very close to what you'd get in Spain. Excellent bar and a nice selection of wines.... Service was casual but understandable as the place was PACKED.
