No doubt, very fresh. But because everything is so fresh there's no need for sauces. One of their dishes was soaked and... overpowered with soy sauce that the freshness of the uni and beef was gone. Their Amaebi was fresh and unlike other placesIzakaya does not deep fried the head. Sashimi was perfect in all sense. Read more

tl dr; Consider somewhere else to eat or even just buy some sushi with 20% off from Tokyo Central. Came party of 2 for dinner... at 6pm. Not busy. The menu has increased the price to an unreasonable level considering the portion being small and taste beingso average. Some highlights Uni & Kobe beef sashimi - uni or beef itself would taste better than them combined. 1+1<2 ChickenKaraage - you can get better ones from Mitsuwa. Crab Croquette - same as the ones you get from Japanese grocery store, exceptthey generously provided a large bowl of sauce so you can let the two croquettes swim in the sauce. Salmon Pressed Sushi -cooked salmon, tons of rice squeezed together. Wonder if anyone really enjoyed this. I’m not a picky customer, but spending$50+/person here just make me cherish more of the rest part of my day. Read more

The Best Bento Ever, and cooked to perfection! I wished I'd found this place sooner as soon as I saw this Bento to go. It came... in a Large square bento-box (11-inch square - photo shown is for one person), everything was delicious. Steak, Pork, ShrimpTempura were cooked to perfection, real crab meat and salmon roe and salmon on rice, oyster-katsu, egg, Karaage, octopus-seafoodsalad, potato salad, edamame, and Pickled radish. Next week, I will try their Omakase to go! ( Added photo of Omakase to gofor two ) Read more

The grilled beef tongue is the star tonight. Sweet shrimps are tasty but not special. I also like beef wrapped uni, my first... time trying it and it was GOOD. The miso soup is not too bad but I don't think it is necessary for the meal. Mayo crispy shrimpsare not recommended. Overall, we had a great time here. The staff are so nice and friendly! Will come back again! ? Read more

Solid izakaya, albeit with a relatively limited menu. We loved everything we ordered. The sukiyaki on cold udon was a really... pleasant surprise. They even crack a soft, runny egg on top at the table. Beautiful and delicious. The yakitori is solid. I'dhighly recommend the chicken meatball. The service is fantastic. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. They also openlate, till 11pm. Would highly recommend this wonderful spot! Read more

Savory, meaty glory in every bite and dishes they serve. I could easily spend over $100 here and order any of the beef, pork and... chicken dishes. Make a reservation as sometimes the restaurant can have a long wait for walk ins. They have propane tank heatersand the staff is complaint with safety measures dining outside during covid. Ordered beef tongue, steak, omakase sashimi, chicken wings, pork cheek, intestines and uni & beef sashimi. The beef tongue is my favorite for the medium rare umami tastethat melts in your mouth. Very good food. The beef tongue was our favorite. It has a very thick cut and is tender as well as very well seasoned. The... oysters, salmon and eel sushi, we ordered, were very fresh. The uni & beef sashimi was alright. The taste of the soy sauce was alittle bit too strong and the uni did not taste sweet. The pressed salmon sushi was only okay since it has too much rice incomparison to the salmon. Overall, the food, particularly the beef tongue is very delicious. Will definitely return. Read more
