I was pleasantly surprised how delicious the food was... delicate barberryrice(zereshk polo), both the chicken and salmon were... tender, juicy, and flavorful... the waitress did forget our tadig appetizer, but as it turns out, we had ordered plenty of foodanyway! ???? I have marked off a star for 2 reasons... parking is extremely minimal and the food was a bit pricey for such asmall non-formal restaurant, but honestly, it was worth it and I would definitely go here again. The cornish kabab main course was fresh and great. My only complaint is about the appetizer. We eagerly ordered the Tahdig and... Fesenjun but it was not heated, and the fesenjun had been applied to completely cover the tahdig. The tahdig was stale andlacked aroma though this was not easy to tell when it was completely covered with khoresh already. Came here with my friend and her boyfriend who is Persian. This was my first time having Persian food and let me tell you, my... taste buds were going crazy!! All the different flavors were amazing. Never been here before, everything was clean and well presented. Hostess took me to my seat. I asked her what was the Darbaris... most sought after dish. She told me the rack of lamb so thats what I got, cooked medium rare. The meal arrived with big heapingside of rice and a roasted tomato. The lamb has cooked to perfection, tender, not chewy, pre cut displayed along the rice. Thelamb marinate was top notch! It hit the spot. Even ate all the rice, I was hungrier than I thought.
