Decent place with authentic Mediterranean food cooked to order. I had the spicy chicken beast and asked for it hot, it was very... good but not as hot as I would have liked. The beef kebab was cooked with onion and was decent but I wouldn't order it again asthe beef was pretty hard to chew through. The greek salad was great, fresh feta cheese, tomatoes and olives with a pit stillinside. Best thing I had was the baklava, and I think this was probably the best baklava I've ever had! Would highly recommendit to any fan of baklava, it was definitely made in house and the Crispy crunchy filo dough was perfect and the touch of honeywas not overwhelming at all, mildly sweet I'd call it. Would definitely go back, especially for the baklava. Read more

A++. Stopped in looking on my way back to the Syracuse airport. Really happy I did! The falafel pita and the tabouleh were... outstanding. The Baba Ganoush was fantastic also, smokey and perfect consistency. 100% will be back! Read more

Wonderful friendly family-owned restaurant with delicious options to make both my meat loving husband happy (bacon cheeseburger... wrap) and me who prefers vegetarian options. The labneh leads to cravings. ?? Read more

I ordered a large Greek Salad. I wish I looked at it before I left. For more than $12 you would expect a nice salad. It was very... small, very skimpy and an absolute waste of.money. I was very disappointed. It was suppose to be my dinner but ended up being aside salad for the sandwich I had to make. I wish I could give zero stars. Read more

My wife and I were passing through Cortland, NY looking for a good restaurant with vegan, gluten free menu options. We had... dinner at Pita Gourmet and were very happy with the food quality, quantity, presentation and service. The friendly andknowledgeable waitress helped us make a great selection of vegan and gluten free options that we enjoyed for dinner and we hadenough for next day's lunch. We did not try non vegan foods, but I have no reason to believe that it would not be as deliciousas the vegan ones. I highly recommend Pita Gourmet! Read more

The falafel balls are very tasty the lentel soup is 5 star. The service is sunny and efficient. The loss of the star had to do... with the lettuce my wife detected an unpleasant after taste. Her taste buds are better than mine. I did not notice it, but Itrust her. Read more

Best food in the area - we live 4 hours away and my wife makes sure we get it every chance we can. Salads are phenomenal, only... to be out done by their gyros. Baklava and grape leaves are amazing as well. Read more

Worst gyro ever. Very disappointed of our lunch today. I have been to pita gourmet in numerous times in the past and everything... was very good but this time was the worst experience ever. It is my fiancée?s and I first time to Pita Gourmet in like 3 yearsand we definitely noticed the difference. We got the chicken gyro and there was barely any chicken in it (attached picture). The lentil soup was basically just lentils with TONS of pepper, the Shawarma plate was extra small, and it tasted terribly. Forapps we ordered falafels ???? and they were dry and cold. ANYTHING of what we ordered we liked. I usually do not like to be aKaren, but this were so hungry and this experience made me extra HANGRY. I left the whole gyro, and even told the server we werevery dissatisfied and she did nothing to get us the manager or try to give us a discount. I?m still extra mad. Read more
