Andreas, the valet is stellar! A true professional who enjoys and takes pride in customer service. Upon arriving, his greeting... is warm and listens while he is very busy. When we left, he was pulling our car out and opened my passenger door whilst in thedriver's seat. With Covid, the C-Team has been on fleek. Andreas truly exemplifies top-notch A-Team. Now my cheeseburger was THEbest ever. Perfectly cooked on a sourdough roll with a side of grilled onions. Do yourself a favor and pull up to the bar andhave some good conversation with a local. There's no way in hell this place gets a 4.4 rating. Perhaps for lousy service and subpar food, it rates 11 out of 10. The... pasta is overcooked, sauces are grade school cafeteria level and the prawns dore is possibly the chewiest seafood ever to gracea fake wood table. Save your money and go to the nearest Denny's because at least you know you'll get treated like a king orqueen for your birthday. As for the servers, they move at their own pace. They go out of their way to NOT look at you when youwant something as simple as water, napkins and some untensils. I am not buying the whole there's not enough people to work biteither. Is there anything good to say about the place? The valet parking guy was great and had a photographic memory of any carleft to park. They should hire him to manage the joint because the owner is definitely living on the name and repeat customersthat have had their taste buds surgically removed. Read more

It's fun to try all the Joe's: Original Joe's, San Rafael Joe's, but Marin Joe's is my favorite. Real-deal cocktails,... professional and friendly staff... a giant menu cooked in front of your eyes. Everyone that works there takes pride in theirwork. I feel fortunate every time I go. Read more

Very disappointing. This 70's style hamburger joint turned overly priced steakhouse is not worth your hard earned dollars and... definitely not going to turn any tastebuds. The service from hosting to serving needs to really go through a crash course on"service". With the menu being priced as is you expect at least a smile, "happy to have you here" , can I get you a refill, etc.All you get is smirky comments and blame put on ownership for how terrible an establishment it is. Now onto the food, know thatthe menu is overpriced and under delivered. I ordered a Ribeye at around $40 (not cheap), it comes with plain steamed veggiesand fries or potatoes. No thanks. Ask for a salad side instead and they will NOT allow this as an option, by the way, they dohave salad on their menu. At $40 I would highly recommend bring a little more flexible on the side options. The steak was tenderbut bland. I grill a much tastier steak at home. The drinks are $3 a pop and non-refillable.. I mean, come on people, will a$0.25 refill break the bank when you are paying $40+ on an average steak and some fries! The chicken breast is bland..literally grilled chicken breast little to no seasoning on a plate. No tenderizing, nothing special.. its chicken breast out ofa packet, cooked and slapped onto a plate, same unappealing side options. The salmon, meh. Over priced. I would have been okwith the poor service, angry workers, dated establishment, lack of refills, bland flavors, and very limited options at half theexpense but not at $60 pp. Ask the server why and she will frustratedly tell you, "the owner passed away a while ago and thekids that own the restaurant now dont want to make any changes. It doesnt make sense, I wouldn't do it this way, but this is howit is." I definitely suggest another local restaurant to eat at and will not be returning. Lesson learned. Read more

Well, I'm going to put 2 stars and it's only for the waiters who were pretty good. For the rest ? On the picture I obviously ate... the shrimps, but let's be honest, $24 for some iceberg lettuce ? I mean I had a bunch of shrimps + 2 tomato slices and 2 beetsslices, no more. For $12 I would say alright it's a starter, but for twice the price it's the most expensive salad I had to eatin my whole life. Read more

Love this place as I have been going for over 30 years. Yummy, worth the wait. Macaroni Napolitano with a Italian sausage cut up... and lots of parmesan cheese. Ceasars salad, bacon cheese burger and more from a great grill. Read more
