Reviews for Tucker Town in Corsicana, TX
Excellent local food, especially the barbecue. Easy to find, easy to order, easy to eat. Worth a trip over.
Food was pretty good. Atmosphere was mediocre. The place was covered with Spiders. Creeped me out. Their tea tasted moldy and... was pretty bad. I had the BBQ street tacos and my wife had the BLT. Both were ok. Read more
"Best BBQ in Texas" the sign reads. How I had hoped. We ordered at 4:30 - a rack of ribs, a pound of sausage and a chopped... beef sandwich with tater salad, and 2 drinks. At 4:51 we finally got our food. The place wasn't busy. In fact, there was onlyone other couple there. I asked them if it was taking a while because they had to warm it up. They actually said yes! So, afterwaiting 21 minutes for simple BBQ, that should be kept in a warming oven, I got COLD pork ribs. The sausage was lukewarm butcut incorrectly. Anyway spending $57 for warmed up leftovers out of the fridge is ridiculous! Read more
We always stop for iced tea but on occasion I am allowed a pile of brisket and pulled pork. Both very good but order fatty parts... if that is what you prefer. Cole slaw good as greens, burgers. Enjoy. Read more
Only complaint is they close early. Love the food. Can be hot during summer since you sit outside, but they have a swamp cooler... and lots of fans. Love that they just started serving breakfast! People go to BBQ for the food and the food has always beenspot on. Read more
I have always been pleased with the food anytime I ordered?except for today. We ordered the chicken strip baskets for our 3 year... old and myself; the chicken looked fine, but the smell of the chicken wasn?t pleasant at all and it didn?t even have the tasteof chicken. I don?t know if it was the batter or the oil they were fried in but it was terrible. Read more
