Friends and coworkers, all rave about Vicks and tell me it\'s a Local favorite. I have gone twice and at my friend\'s suggestion... to try the Ultimate burger both times and they were 100% correct it is my new top favorite burger anywhere. I Love the staff(super nice and friendly) Prices are great for what you get. I will share our ordering suggestion. get the Ultimate double ortriple if your starving, fried pickles with the double burger, oh and the onion rings are the real deal handmade delicious.Thank you to the Team members and management for putting together my Favorite burger spot of all of South Texas. Not impressed. This was the new location on Saratoga and had higher expectations. We normally would visit the Ayers location and... the food was always on point. The chicken was always juicy, full of flavor and the portions were awesome. The burgers wereamazing and large. But at the new location, chicken was dry and bland and what is supposed to be the best part of fried chicken(crispy skin) was over cooked on some parts. French Fry portions were like for a kids meal. What I enjoy most are the many dishes offered on the menu. In addition to the variety of hamburger types there\'s fish, steak... fingers, Tex Mex, and other sandwiches. The variety of desserts on the menu is a real treat you usually don\'t find at otherplaces. Will drive through again soon. Read more

I am so glad Vicks has a location on the South Side! I have been twice now since they recently opened and I love it. I’ve... ordered the same exact thing both times! Burger, fries, fried pickles and a milkshake of course! The drive through team wasfriendly and the wait wasn’t bad, despite the drive through being full or cars.\n\nI am so happy to support local and lovehaving them near me. Decided to try this location since the usual location I frequent on Ayers is now closed. I pulled up and ordered via drive thru.... I ordered two 3 pc chicken mix baskets and one 4 pc steak finger basket. None of the orders comes with a drink. Received my foodand it was placed one order atop another in one plastic bag. Arrived home and the temperature of the food had changed from warmto cold. My drive is 5 minutes. Opened the food trays to find that my steak fingers were over cooked. The chicken baskets werenot comparable. One had huge pieces of chicken the other smaller pieces. A lot of breading and hardly any meat. I posted a photoof a chicken leg next to a salsa packet for comparison. No napkins, salt, pepper or ketchup. They didn’t even offer it. It’snot the same quality of food that I remember from the other locations. They do have ample parking and a nice patio area. Read more
