I?m not one to write reviews nor try New Mexican restaurants, I?m very picky about Mexican food here in corpus. This place was... good. The serving size was nice. The tortillas were nice and soft. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Service was not the best, food was good, but when it came time to pay they told us... our total was one amount so we swipe our card and when it come to sign the receipt the total was 5 dollars more than what theysaid our total was. When my husband asked about it the lady said they charge tax twice. How can you charge taxes twice? So thenI look at my bank transactions on my app and they charged us an additional 10 dollars on top of the 5 they had already addedwithout telling us. How many customers are they screwing over and people are just not looking at their receipts. Read more

The wait time is outrageous. That said. I really wanted to complain further, but the FOOD IS AMAZING. The wait is worth it. This... is the best place on this side of town. I'm reminded of all the family gatherings growing up with each flavorful bite. I wasthere around 7, and there wasn't much of a crowd. Still waiting for Amazing food was worth every moment. Read more
