It's been a couple years since we have eaten here, and it Didn't disappoint. They have new owners, and have made some changes. ... They now have an oyster bar next door that should be opening soon. Free sunsets, incredible food, great value for your money, and a sweet finish right next door! Had the platter, burger,tirimisu, and key lime pie. In a beautiful location on the inlet under the causeway bridge. They have boat access and plenty of deck seating. They?ve been... around since 1980 and have their original big board menu on display which is cool to see! Majority of food is fried. Wife and Isplit the combo and when we asked the cashier if it was big enough she very enthusiastically said that many people split it andit was enough for us both. Food tasted like fried in "old oil". Bad when 90% menu is fried. Salad and coleslaw best part. Overpriced. Paid $70 for 2... people. Sorry, heard use to be good. Worst meal on the island. Go next door to Doc's instead. Read more
Awesome place for seafood! Don?t be afraid of the lines, they are quick and service is good. If you don?t know what to get they... are friendly enough to make suggestions. We went on a Friday night and found a table with a view. Our food took like 10 min andwas very hot and fresh. The gumbo was okay lacked flavor. The shrimp, fish and crab cakes were very delicious. The workers arequick to clean up tables and take away plates when your done. The sunset view was beautiful from the porch. We would definitelycome again. Read more
Amazing!!! We sat outside by the water it was so relaxing!! The food was so amazing!! Two of my not loving seafood boys had the... grilled cheese, they said it was the best grilled cheese ever!! My other son got fish and fries and said the fish was so good!!The fried shrimp and hush puppies were so good!! The staff were all so nice and friendly and welcoming!! Awesome place for seafood with a casual vibe. Great view out to the water. Get your own tarter sauce, cocktail sauce, and hot... sauce. Large overflowing plates. My fish tacos were delicious and crispy. Half a dozen of fried oysters were also delicious.Highly reccomend! Read more
The fish and chips were not as good as other restaurants we ate at. The food was just okay. Service was fine. We liked having a... picture board to go along with the names of the dishes, that way we had an idea of what to expect. Read more
