Great value for your money! Excellent seafood! The staff was super friendly and they were extremely accommodating to our dog. We... sat on the patio, with a commanding view of the USS Lexington, they brought a bowl of ice water for our dog, and even have foodon the menu for the four legged family members. If you like eating outside, with Gulf breeze blowing in, beautiful sights, and a fun atmosphere....this is your place to be!!... There was live music while we visited. The food was great and fresh. One thing: there are 2 different sized chairs to sit inaround the table....one is shorter than the other and it's weird sitting in them as an adult....you feel like a little kid atthe table ???????? Great seafood spot very close to the Texas Aquarium and the USS LEXINGTON. Great menu, great service, tasty food. Alcoholic... beverages are available. Nice breeze with a great view of the LEXINGTON if you sit outside - and the weather cooperates - was agreat combo. Read more

Overall I really enjoyed the vibe and energy of this restaurant. I would definitely try again I believe the circumstances of... this visit may have impacted the quality of the food. The restaurant normally opens at 11am, but the kitchen had to restock andunpack boxes. Eventually the restaurant opened at 12:30pm. Ambience - 5 star: A local restaurant with outdoor seating nearwater front with bar and live music. The chairs are made of pvc pipes and boards, and were lower than your standardchair. Beverage - 3 star: They served one of the best fountain cokes that I have had in a long time. I ordered a patron shot toadd to my margarita mix because there was absolutely no alcohol present. Food - 3 star: The gumbo was more of a tomato soup withrice. The fried green tomatoes and sauce were delicious although some were a bit mushy. The fried fish and shrimp were standardand decent. The cocktail sauce was really delicious with chunks of capers. The broccoli was buttery and perfectly cooked. Thegreen beans were canned. The cole slaw had a vinegar base and was decent. Dee was a fantastic server. She checked on us often and kept us updated on the status of our order. My son and I both had the... fried shrimp. My only complaint was the fries we on the cold side. My husband had the seafood boil. He thought it was a littleover cooked, but he said it was still really good. He finished off lunch with the turtle cheesecake and said it was excellent.We will be back to try other items on the menu. Read more
A must visit for delicious seafood with breathtaking views of the historic USS Lexington from the back outdoor area. The seafood... is certainly set apart from the rest. I had one of the best fish snapper over rice with crawfish sauce dishes, The best incorpus area. Peel n eat shrimp were a delicious starter along with a nice shrimp cocktail. We visited Corpus Christi two summers in a row and traveled 4 hours just to eat at Pier 99. The food is amazing. It is... definitely worth the wait. You dine in near the Corpus Christi Bay, enjoy live music and relax. Our favorite has been theBonanza Shrimp and the Ceviche. It's a must try. You definitely need to stop to eat here.
