The food was good but MAN have the prices gone up. The fish is a lot smaller now. It was crunchy and greasy and just like I... remember. I only go to LJS once or twice a year. The employees here were very nice and friendly. I went to try the lobster bitesand they were delicious. We used to be able to get our 2 meals for under $18 but it was a little over $30 now. 2 meals (nodrinks) and an order of lobster bites. Went in the other night and I'm guessing she's a new worker she was very polite. Took our order walked it out to us and walked... around lobby wiping down tables, salt/pepper shakers, vinegar bottles, windows name it she was on top of everything as inkeeping everything stocked up and clean collecting trays. Sharing my experience, not the food which I always enjoy. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE AND EXPECT ANY PREFERENCE. When I ordered it said... just go ahead of the line when i got here. Car line VERY long!. So thought Id go inside to try. Nope!! They didnt care. Onlyone person at window. No one to help at counter. Pitiful!!! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!! I was told to go get in car line. Plusattitude!! So I needed to buy dinner because I am my security officer and this would be my dinner for the night shift of 12 hours. I was so... disappointed the pieces of fish and chicken look like they were refried or under the lamp too long dried up I ordered coleslawand there was none the only good thing they got right was my iced tea with lots of ice other than that it was a disappointment.Paid $13.29 for food I didn't eat, just a waste of money. I don't know why employees do not care about the service they give, itreflects on the company and it keeps them at a job. I bet they wouldn't serve this kind of food to their family members or eatit themselves so why subject customers to this kind of food. It's like they just want to get over with their shift regardless ofwho gets what. Then they complain when a customer has an issue with food order. I have been to this location twice. The fast food fish is greasy as usual. Not the healthiest but every once in a while it is... good. I have learned to eat it with malt vinegar, which kind of cuts out the greasiness. The service is good! Read more
Food was still great! But the inside was horrible. Water on the floor...ceiling tiles and ceiling trim were coming... down...everything looked like it needed to be wiped down. Guy running the register was extremely polite and helpful. Thank yousir. If not for you...this location would have scored way lower. Read more
I read some of the reviews and I'm glad that I had a great experience. I hadn't been to a stand alone LJS in years!!! I was... surprised at the vast menu that they had!!! The fish was fried to perfection and so were the chicken planks, shrimp, fries, hushpuppies and the lobster bites!!! I really loved eating here, I even rang the bell!!! It was like eating at the LJS back homewhen I was a kid. The only complaint I have is the slow service, since they are understaffed. Read more
Went tonight. $25 for two plates (2 fish and 6 shrimp). Prices were raised but willing to pay. But did not expect to be ripped... off by the fish they are serving now. Raised the price but are now serving perch size fish. Paper thin too! Will not be goingback for this. Can get more for my dollar somewhere else. Read more
