We came for a late lunch and still had to wait for a table. I ordered the Ladies special #1 , and my husband ordered the tacos... mexicanos with shredded chicken. We have been coming here for over 15 years , I am sorry to say after today we will NOT becoming back. I understand food cost are going up but.... , I looked at drink menu ( thought about getting iced tea it was $3. 99 , REALLY?? My husband said his chicken was dry and had no seasoning, it tasted bland. My special , the taco was just ok ,the meat did not taste seasoned at all , the shredded lettuce was limp and I just had a few chopped tomatoes and no cheese atall. The quacamole tostada was good , the queso cup ( my favorite part) was served in a small BOWEL , when asked server wherewas taco cup , she said they are cutting back because of high cost and did away with it . Sorry but I can get better tacos atother places. I will miss the guacamole too , but not enough to return , I realize this place is a Corpus Christi institution, and some people will always go , but more will drop out with these drastic changes!! The prices have increased and so have the wait times. The food is still average. Service is okay. Everytime I visit I hope for... just a little better service but it doesn?t change. They do come by to buss the table really quickly once they see you?vecompleted your meal. Read more

The food is very good, the server we had was excellent!!! HUGE portions.....my burrito was the size of Texas. Be prepared to eat... A LOT of food. I couldn't finish my burrito and that never happens. FRESH TORTILLAS is always a plus and they give you them as aside. ONE NOTE....the men's bathroom could use some TLC....2 fixtures looked like they hadn't been cleaned since the days of theAlamo. We will return Read more

Kiko's is a long time Corpus favorite for many people, and it may soon be one of yours as well. They have a large selection of... Mexican food entree's, including dinner and lunch specials or order ala carte. The happy hour margarita specials are a bonus. The puffy taco is a real treat you don't find everywhere. The beef or chicken enchiladas are great. This is a really bigplace, but you'll get the personal attention you need for a nice relaxing meal to be enjoyed at your own pace. Read more

Got Puffy Tacos and the Enchilada Dinner Plate, and also a Happy Hour Margarita. Food was tasty and we liked the Puffy Tacos,... which we were interested to try for the first time. But we loved the homemade corn tortillas more. Chips and salsa that wewere served to start with were also good; my wife, who normally wouldn't eat chips before having a meal, couldn't stop eatingthem. Atmosphere was fun and welcoming. Server was helpful. Good experience coming here. Read more

We had a great experience here. My coworker enjoyed (more than a few) their $2 margaritas. He ordered beef fajitas and I ordered... the Kiko's Special. It was a lot of food for a great price. We were told, as out of Towner's, to come here. We were told wewould wait 20 minutes to get a table and we waited about ten minutes. I will be back. Read more

As we asked around town everyone said to come to kiko's it is the number one Mexican restaurant in the area and we were not... disappointed. They had some of the largest portions I've ever seen including the largest taco shell I have seen!! The flavor wasright on and the whole place was busy. This place is a must-try,! Read more
