**just to follow up. I emailed customer care before writing this and also emailed after the response I recieved below. No... response either time the second email was sent on 7/28. ** Shame on the management. Our rising star was hustling and clearlyhad been fed to the wolves. We never recieved our waters we requested at the beginning of the meal, our the biscuits. When werecieved our orders I recieved what was pictured as my grandpa's breakfast with eggs over easy and biscuits and gravy. Weapproached one manager to make sure we could eat and we finally received our full meals after 10-15 minutes of waiting while wewatched our waiter running back and forth to serve all his tables as they stood near the kitchen door watching. We neverrecieved everything we ordered and after grabbing the older manager to explain our discontent his response was "OK I'll give youa discount". You clearly don't care to improve, because instead of treating me with respect for coming to you with a validissue, you brushed me off as a customer looking for free food. We are out of town visitors and family lives here, apparentlythis is the only cracker barrel in corpus so I guess if you have a monopoly why care about brand management. The older managerwith glasses clearly has this philosophy. If you're a cracker barrel fan... save yourself this location management does notcare about supporting their staff, brand integrity or proper customer care. Read more
Today was the first time I've had a bad meal at Cracker Barrell and it was horrible!! We got the Sunday special, Pot Roast. What... we got was a small pot full of water, onions, celery, 2 carrots, 2 potato wedges, and 3 chunks of boiled beef! Zero flavor and,when I asked for a plate to dish it out of the water, it barely filled a bread plate. Fortunately, we ordered a couple of sidesat 2.99 each. We even had to pay for the biscuits. And even those were disappointing, flattened and not flaky at all. Overall,$44 for 2 super bland, cheap boiled dinners. With so many other choices in Corpus, we won't be back. Read more

We drove around the area to find a locally owned breakfast place. What's up with Corpus??? Three places permanently closed, and... we ended up at the Cracker Barrel. Totally worth it!! The bisquits are freshly baked, the pancakes are almost as good as mymom's, the sausage yummy, yummy. Coffee, pretty good. Service was outstanding. Speacially considering the place had beenalready packed for several hours on Sunday morning. Please, be considerate with servers and tip them well. What goes around,comes around. ???? Read more

We both had lunch portion of Chicken and Dumplings, I had vedgetable soup for my side and husband had fried okra . The chicken... and dumplings were perfect. The soup was good but very bland , I added Tabasco , salt and pepper.His okra was ok , it could havebeen a little more crisp. We also had bisquits and cornbread on the side , they were both perfect and I was very impressed theyserved real butter , not fake spread like most places in Corpus Christi.
