Wow wow wow ???? ???? This is the best Mexican I've had in a long time. I ordered chips and guacamole and Enmoladas. They make... everything from scratch, including their chips, and it was all so good. Beans and rice were popping with flavor. Mole sauce wasamazing. Bright welcoming colors and thoughtful decor inside and out with Mexican tile tables crafted by the owner herself! Iwish they had a location in the hill country! I look forward to my next beach trip :) Read more

Nice little hole in the wall, Mexican food! Pretty expensive, good portions, a little underwhelmed because they put an entire... salad on every taco or tostada we ordered, very little meat. It was fresh and hot. Their queso tasted like velveeta, which isn'talways a bad thing if you can ramp it up with spices and peppers. Did have a 2 item kids menu. They don't have all their dishesall the time. I went in hopibg for Birria, on a Tuesday, they said that dish was on Wednesdays. I got their progressive tacosinstead. Overall not bad, accomadating, kind staff. Read more

Nice addition to the Mexican food options on North Padre Island. Counter service, daily menu posted on the whiteboard. Food... runners deliver your order to your table. I had the Chicken Mole, which was delicious. A very tender chicken breast & thigh iscovered in Mole sauce served with rice and beans. There are about 12-15 entree choices daily. Frozen margaritas and moreavailable from the bar. Read more

We had dinner here on Wednesday June 1st. More authentic Mexican not Tex-Mex. You order at the front counter, they give you a... number, then seat yourself and they bring the food to you. We both had the carne guisada plates and the portions were good.Price $11.99 each. Chips and salsa are not complimentary. We had the guacamole and chips, $7.49. The food was good but I had myheart set on some good old beef enchiladas but it wasn?t on the menu.. They do say the menu changes daily so maybe they haveenchiladas other days? The two of us had two dinner plates, guacamole and chips, and two beers. Our total price, $48.37 beforetip. Read more

I loved this place. The food is authentic with lots of great flavors; maybe the best beans I?ve ever had. My family however was... not so impressed? actually, I?m just about the only one who actually ate. Everything was spicy and even a generous amount ofadded crema couldn?t make it palatable for the wife and kids who have minimal spice tolerance. If your family likes spicy, awesome choice. If not, probably best to make other plans. Read more

We finally went to Celaita?s! (Faint emoji). I had the Chicken Mole. It was sweet and spicy and the chicken was SO TENDER. It... was unbelievable. David had, Asado De Puerco Verde. It literally fell apart and had so much ?flavor. The tortillas, homemadeof course, were authentically perfect. We had corn, which tasted like the corn field was out back. The flour tortillas were, the BEST I have had in Corpus. Not too thick. Just perfect. Perfection. The chips and salsa!! Oh, OH my goodness. Ridiculously good. The salsa is warm and just spicy enough. Then! Look at those chips! There are two layers. Double corntortillas fried to crispy insanity. Oh my goodness. The beans were creamy, the rice was dreamy. I always enjoy additionalsauces. Oh, they did not disappoint. This place should be packed. But, the news is not out yet I guess! Oh, when the newsgets out! I can not wait to go back. Read more

This is by far one of the best places on the island to eat. The food is very fresh and delicious. They have a rotating menu but... they say most of their basic dishes are always there and then they rotate in specialty items. Staff is very friendly andknowledgeable. The owner/chef came to our table to see how things were. We got the chips and salsa, not free like you are usedto but totally worth the price. My husband ordered the bisteak ranchero and I had the chicken tostadas. Everything about ourfood was awesome! We are probably going back tomorrow night. Read more
