Cool place. The staff was really nice and the food came out super fast despite how busy it was (there was concert about to go... down down the street). My shrimp tacos were fresh and tasty. I originally called an order for pick-up for a fried avocado (I guess the picture of the menu I was looking at was old and I... didn't realize it!) The kind young lady who answered the phone let me down easy that it was no longer on the menu. She offeredfried avocado tacos instead. If I would've seen the ingredients on a normal menu, I never would've ordered them, but thanks tothe recommendation and no physical menu in front of me, I got to enjoy one of the most amazing flavor profile experiences of mythree decades of eating! I also extremely love their fried pickle spears. They are beyond crunchy, so the texture experience isimmaculate, and they also have great flavor. Their ranch dressing has got to be homemade -- it just has that "my grandma madeit" flair! Thank you for the opportunity to eat such good food! Keep up the fantastic work! 12/10, highly recommended! I amfrom roughly two hours away, but I will drive back one day just to eat here again! This was by far the BEST restaurant we have gone to since we arrived in Corpus Christi. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to... anyone in the city. My son wants to return for dinner!!! The staff was very and patient with my family, it took a second tofigure out what we wanted to eat. Their bathrooms were very clean and they had soap so I was happy about that. I went to Brewster Street in downtown. I was so excited to see crawfish menu and I ordered 2 lbs with sides. Flavor was great... but 5-6 crawfish were no longer fresh and turned to back /brown color and I couldn't eat it. I hope restaurant pay moreattention to it before serving. Read more

I was excited to go back here after being away for 10 years. Sadly, it wasn't as good as I remembered. We arrived around 3pm for... a late Sunday lunch before leaving town. We both got burgers. His jalapeno jammin burger was cooked correctly, my hellfireburger was burnt badly. That was all I could taste. Neither were very spicy. I will say he liked his better than I did. Thefried pickles saved the day though. They were lightly battered & the pickles were still crunchy. They don't do table serviceoutside of delivering your food which isn't a big deal. Going there still brought back lots of fun concert memories though andthe building itself hasn't changed a bit. I'm sure it's still a fun spot to hear live music. Read more

We checked out the salads at Brewster Street in downtown Corpus Christi today. To be totally honest I think it was the best beef... fajita I have ever had. I had the beef fajita salad and my wife had the shrimp salad. The ranch dressing and the vinaigrettedressings were very good, they seemed homemade. The atmosphere was pretty chill and casual, kind of like a dark bar. The staffwas pretty friendly and got us everything that we requested. I also really appreciate that they gave a good military discount. Iwould highly recommend the beef fajita salad. Read more
