Best I've cream I've had on the west coast so far. Grew up in Oklahoma around many dairy farms and always have been used to Ice... cream with a high fat content like this. It has been hard to find similar I've cream like this on the west coast, so this was apleasant surprise. The Moopie is deceiving and much bigger than you think, so be careful or you'll end up over ordering like wedid. If you've never had this type of "real" ice cream, definitely give it a go. Great ice cream spot on Coronado. They have lots of different flavors as well as ice cream taco and ice cream sandwiches. Will... definitely stop here again next time I am in town. The portions are also very large for a reasonable price. I ordered a doublescoop and it was really like 4 smaller scoops. I couldn?t finish it all. Read more
First time being there and it will be remembered for life. I ordered a Crown Brownie thinking it was a good but somewhat small... portion, considering the reasonable price. What I received though was a meal for 3 with two large pancakes and three huge scoopsof IC in between. While sitting outside, our plates did more advertisement than the cow standing up front as people were walkingand dropping their jaws at our orders. I couldn't finish it of course but it was well worth it. Delicious, huge and good price.Nothing more we can ask for. Read more
This popular ice cream shop has amazing flavors. I tried the James brownie, which has two brownies, whipped cream, toppings etc... and three scoops of ice cream, you could choose the flavors, and do different flavor scoops. A really cool spot! I just adore the decor and the music (lots of Elvis)! Got a single scoop "cookie dough" sundae, which was... plenty enough for me, I could hardly get through the majority of it! Ha! Definitely recommend stopping by, the menu was huge! Read more
The best kind of ?classic? ice cream. Reminded me of what we had growing up. I got the little moo green chip in a waffle cone.... It was a bit more than I needed (feeling a bit over-full now but it was worth it). I?d probably just get the dish nexttime. For what it?s worth, we visited Coronado on a Tuesday night & were pleasantly surprised to find easy parking and lots ofspace to walk around. A great experience compared to the weekends. 4 stars because no samples but unique flavors :( Read more
