Cafe Rubio has some rude and unprofessional staff , the food was so bad I couldn?t even feed it to my dog . The chicken had no... flavor at ALL , the mofogo was one of the worst thing I ever had in my life ,very dry and cold . Save your money And your timecoming here . Read more

Just was walking through the area looking for a place to watch some football, so glad I stumbled upon this place, the food was... amazing and drinks very good, all of the staff I came in contact with were exceptionally nice and friendly. I don?t speakSpanish so it was a little difficult ordering but still totally worth it. The interior is very clean and modern and thebathrooms are above excellent compared to most restaurants. It doesn?t look like much from the outside and after walking aroundthe area I didn?t expect a place like this to be here, definitely don?t pass it up if you have a chance. Read more

We've been coming here for years - can't believe it's taken this long to write a review. But Rubios is seriously the best - the... breakfast here is our JAM. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu, but some of my favorites are the Rubios breakfastburrito (so filling), breakfast plate (eggs, plantains, and beans), and breakfast sandwich (with yummy bacon). I'm usually inthe mood to have my eggs cooked a different way every time I come here, and they are a champion in terms of getting my orderright each time. Love the family - seriously, you can taste the love in their food. It's what keeps us coming back. Also, hugeshout out on their lunch and dessert offerings. We don't come for lunch that often (usually because we're here for brunch andfill up on breakfast food), but their chicken and carne asade dishes are crazy good. And when I'm really feeling like I need toindulge, I get a slice of their chocolate cake or fruit tarte to go. Makes my entire weekend. They are OPEN during this pandemicfor take-out and delivery so do yourself a favor and get some Rubios. Read more

Cafe Rubio is legitimate in its food and the service. The food is always plentiful and fresh. As soon as you walk in, a friendly... person will greet you and take your temperature to be safe during covid. The long bar is on the left and they had bar tables onthe right which were empty due to covid. As you walk towards the rear, the place opens up. The ceiling doubles in height, andit resembles a sun room with the brightness of the day coming through the glass ceiling. The restaurant also opens up in widthas well. They have elevated tables in certain locations as if it were a VIP area. If you make another right, it opens to anotherroom for larger families to dine. Everything is spaced out for the pandemic. Rubio's food is always served fresh and to yourliking. I always enjoy the skirt steak with tostones and rice and beans. It also is served with a fresh crispy mescaline saladthat has a light touch of vinaigrette and is flavorful. The waiters and waitresses are always looking to see if everyone issatisfied with their meals. They also have an extensive drink menu and they are not cheap with the drinks. I will have to say this place surprised me. At first glance from outside you really don't expect much but hoping that the food... is good, but once you enter you see that this place is really nice it actually also has an outside area in the back which iwould love to see the set up in the summer to come. Right from the entrance is a bar that looks like it can accommodateanybody's drinking desire which is most definitely good haha. More inside it has alot more seats and tables with betterlighting. Which looks looks like it can be a dance floor at night time. So overall in the looks department i would say spot on.The staff was very friendly and did their job well Now food wise it was a little on the high end in price but the most importantthing is the food and it was really good and up to my expectations I would personally come back again to try more dishes fromthe Dominican Republic.
