I had the XXX hot and hot smoked wings to start and the salad with pulled pork for the main course. Both were very tasty and... nice portion sizes. The bartender was very attentive and the service in general seemed to be good. Very glad I checked thisplace out, I would be back! Read more
I can only speak about the wings and they were awesome. I got Bourbon Hot wings and they were full of flavor and spicy! I asked... for ranch but they came out with Blue cheese dip which was creamy and had just a subtle blue cheese flavor which I liked. Not too bad, not fantastic. Great service and atmosphere. The food was pretty average. I grew up in the South and I have had... much better smoked meats and BBQ food many times before, just pretty average. Ribs were good, the chicken was fairly dry. Pulled pork could have also been more moist. Cornbread mini-muffins were way too sweet. I tried all of their sauces offered atthe table and found that the House Sauce was the best of the group. A meal that melts in your mouth! Really can?t say enough about how wonderful the brisket is here. We got the 3B brisket, bacon,... and blue cheese. A nice taste that was amplified with their in-house sauces. Coleslaw was tasty and the French fries wereslightly crispy. Get a draft beer, get a whiskey or mixed drink, but go there for the food.
