It seemed that everybody was waiting, the people to be seated, the people paying, the people waiting to have their order taken,... and the people waiting for their food. We waited 10 minutes to be seated and realized how much waiting was happening so weleft. I know everyone has a bad day every now and then, it just seemed that the entire level of energy from the crew was abouta 1 on a scale of 10. We drove up to Red bluff and went to the Denny's there. Our waiter tried but the kitchen kept messing up his grind; our french fries were bland, hash browns were burned, the vanilla... sauce was runny in the crepes, the marina sauce was greasy and tasted like soup, burgers were filled with meat water and drippedall over making the already bad bread soggy, the lettuce was brown with dead spots all over it, there were specs in my water,the cheese sauce was cold and runny, they didn?t hold the onion and tomatoes when asked, boxed eggs with the eggs held, theyburnt the burger patty, my bacon was see through, etc. They literally made me puke and expected us to pay $64.25. Dennys in corning always on point. Staff always attentive & quick order to plate times!
Dennys is sometimes the only option for late night cooked meals. I give them credit for being open and dealing with the patrons... ,drunk and rowdy. I bet there are times that Dennys employees wish they could select their customers . That said, thewaitress was quick and thorough, dividing her attention appropriately. The food was basic breakfast, and I enjoyed it.Definitely happy to not .make a mess in my kitchen. Would go again if so inclined. Tipped well based on the obvious hustle ourwaitress exhibited. This Denny's feels like it was shoehorned into what appears to be an old cafeteria/food hall area of the truck stop. Didn't stop... them from serving some decent Denny's standard faire though, tasty as expected. Avoid getting seated in the fringes of theseating area, lest you want to be forgotten about and left alone by your server. It was difficult getting our waitress'attention for refills as we were seated at table 19 right next to the main entrance and difficult to see over all the barriersto help isolate some additional seating. The inside of the restaurant needs a good reorganization so no tables are hidden fromview like this, until then, refuse any table that you can't clearly see into the middle of the restaurant from, table 19 beingthe absolute worst of them all. My Daughter and I hit Denny's, and got great, consistent food just like we expected. We enjoyed our meals, and had good Service... as well. Always like to eat at Denny's. Read more
Great experience ???? the waitress never let our cups run empty. The food was good enough we returned the next day but have... found that this particular Denny's has a overall better quality than some I have visited. The food we great served hot correctand fresh ???? the waitress was very nice and very good at her job as was the other one I spoke to at the front. This locationwas exceptionally clean and I would definitely recommend them especially after a long day. I also recommend trying theirskillets they have some really good ones especially the chicken ???? Read more
