Staff is very friendly and attentive. I had the very berry salad with grilled chicken which was fabulous. I love a good... chocolate martini, and I noticed on the menu that they use chocolate ice cream in their's so I ordered one. What I got was not amartini. It was a milkshake...a milkshake big enough for sharing. I was sure the waitress had misunderstood me, but sheconfirmed it was their choc martini. I couldn't taste any vodka, but It was so very good, not that I could drink even half ofit. I was disappointed that it wasn't what I was expecting. I actually went back again 2 nights later for dinner but there wereno nearby parking spaces available so I ate elsewhere. Read more
First time we have been, we will be back! Food was delicious. Service was very quick. The staff was friendly. It was too hot to... sit in the alley area. We will definitely be trying the adult beverages in the future. Read more
I really LOVE the new Fenders Diner! The alley area is set up so nicely with lots of seating, sail shades, and a stage with a... huge tv. The food is always great but today we tried a couple of new items on the menu. The Buffalo Chicken Dip is THE BEST I?veever had! Great homemade chips included. I just had to try the grilled Mac n cheese sandwich and, as weird as it sounds, it waswonderful! Total comfort sandwich! Love the dark beer on tap. The perfect dessert after a delicious lunch. Have to try this that is deep fried hard boiled eggs. We were leary to try, but glad we got them. Skillet Lasagna was very good.... Can't wait to try again. Read more
Stopped here for the first time for late lunch. Ordered the Rip & Dip with fried okra (okra $2 extra) and the Chili cheeseburger... with crinkle cut fries sprinkled with seasoning salt. Chili was on the spicy side but entire dish overall was very tasty. TheRip & Dip was like a French dip. Roll was fresh and crusty outside and soft inside. Meat was tender and overall a tastysandwich. The upgraded fried okra (in place of fries) were good but even though the menu indicated they were "house made", Ican't equivocally verify that. To me, they seemed not too different from boxed/frozen. But they were fried well...and notgreasy. Our overall visit there was positive; staff was efficient and friendly and the restaurant was clean and designed nicelyto represent an old fashioned diner. Our only suggestion would be to offer more variety (didn't even see a hot dog on the menu)as most diners do. Maybe they scaled back because of the pandemic. An old menu from a number of years reflected more mealoptions. Read more
