When you have no competition this is what you get. Here on a visit, this was recommended as a great place. NOT even close. I try... not to point out a individual issue, more of the total experience because everyone has bad days. #1- I ask for lean brisket,got meat with about 40% fat. #2-Got the ribs on advice from the waitress, bad choice. They were so hard and dry. I hit it witha fork and it sound like I hit wood. Could hardly chew it. So tough. Try to use a knife, not much better. Using a steak knifealso barely helped. #3- The side of beans an potato salad came in a container the size of a Dixie cup, maybe 4oz., about whatkids meal gets. When I told the waitress her response was, " yeah sometimes they leave them out and the get dry and hard. I'lllet them know". I only took three bites and gave up. Ribs were great but Brisket were dry. Liked the hot BBQ sauce, regular sauce tasted like sweetened ketchup. Good service.
This place is hit or miss. When its good its very good. Last rack I picked up at the drive through window was quite dry and hard... to chew. Even my dogs had trouble with it. Their baked beans are marvelous. Read more
I love the atmosphere, their food and the staff!! The young lady that was at the counter was so polite and helpful!! I picked... up 3 family packs. 3 lbs. of meat, 3 containers of baked beans, 3 containers of slaw, 3 packs of buns and 3 containers of BBQsauce. Spectacular place!!! Great food, great people, great atmosphere! If you are in town, I highly recommend stopping by! They are... super quick and really nice. You can drive through if in a rush, or dine in. Love their BBQ sauces as well. Hot sauce is justright ????. Read more
If u want smoked wings do not come here! I ate the whole plate and did not taste any smoke! They smoke in morning which is... fine with me but then when u order they cook in grease! Takes the whole point of reason I ordered them I wanted smoked wings! On the other hand good job on the original and sweet bbq sauce, this gained them my 3 stars at this point in meal unsure if Iwill ever back! Really good stuff. Ribs are fall of the bone tender. Homefries aren't exactly what I expected but pretty decent. Couldn't decide... which sauce I liked more! Great menu selection and the cheesesticks are probably boxed but still cooked well. Kind of a slowtime of the day but the service was great and atmosphere was chill. Read more
I?m from Ga. My boyfriend and I went to eat at the Crossroads Rib Shack, fell in love with the BBQ sauce and food! I bought a... bottle of the Hot BBQ sauce but went through it in just a few weeks. I called the Rib Shack and got the sweetest people wecould?ve hoped for!!! Mattie and Keith were amazing, they mailed me some of my new favorite bbq sauce to Ga. The customerservice was perfect, and the food was awesome! Thank you guys so much for everything! We will be coming back and I will beneeding more sauce soon! Lol Read more
