Very very disappointed in this meal today. I ordered the Captain Don Platter and the meat wasn?t seasoned at all. It was just... meat with Sauce on it including the pulled pork, Brisket and Pulled chicken. We came all the way from Alabama to bedisappointed. The Bake beans were burnt. Added BBQ sauce to make taste like something. Asked to speak to the Manager and he waslittle rude. Wasn?t looking for a refund just wanted him to know this wasn?t the Corky?s I remember a few years back. Order was correct but not separated by each person in the party's order. They packed them together. Though we ordered... separately. We ordered to take home to others also. Perhaps it was because there was one payer. The coleslaw was good and thesliced beef tender. Ribs were welldone but not the best I've had. The staff was adequate. Patrons friendly. Read more
The service at this location was good, really good. The servers were very pleasant, very fluid and efficient. The food came out... really good, everything was cooked right and ssrved hot. The BBQ spaghetti was far better than expected and their bread rollsare definitely better than the average. Read more
Wonderful food and even better service! We stopped in for a dinner break after a long 9-hour drive, and our bartender made sure... we had the most relaxing experience. He kept our drinks full and we had lovely conversation! The spaghetti is DELCIOUS, and thecole slaw is top notch. Corky?s meat selections are high quality and so yummy. Can?t wait to go back! Hard to find one with dining room service. Half rack with baked beans and twice baked potato salad. Salad was rich with a tart... twang to it. Very smooth and the potatoes were sliced into coins. Baked beans were good. Nice flavor, but the same could befound in a can. The ribs were not huge, but very tender. I got them half wet and half dry. The sauce is good but the rub isreally tasty. Corey's is such a Memphis favorite for Southern BBQ! Located on the corner of Germantown Pkwy & Dexter in the Cordova area. It... close for us to get a quick meal, always consistent. We get the ribs fir two, but the BBQ salad is so delicious. They have adrive through window and you can order ahead for pick up as well. Covid regs are no mask required but wear a mask if youlike. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast! They have pork plates, BBQ chicken, spaghetti and the best homemadebanana pudding ever, so safe some room. That might be a lovely place if it had a bit of hospitality. We came to dine-in at Sunday noon today. The place was not busy,... around 5 tables. At the entrance there was no host. Three waiters passed by us with busy hands asking to wait a second. Finallythe fourth guy had seen our demanding eyes and said ?Yes, two?? I believe that is not the way you want to treated when youvisit the place for the first time. We got the table and waited for our waiter for 5 min. Got our water and was ready to makethe order. Waiter did not tell us about any specials. But we?ve found it after and wanted to add to our order. To find a waiterwas hard. Couple other servers passed by and we asked for our server.
