I looked at the property when it was for sale and had I not been going through a divorce I might have been the owner today.In... any event I was there the other evening for an event that was in some ways a precursor to a celebration of an inspiring personin the music business Ronnie Hawkins. It's a WOW experience for us. We are tourists and didn't know most restaurants closes at 9pm in Belleville and it was already... 845pm. We decided to search microbreweries, we know they serve meals and great beers. We found Signal microbrewery. When wearrived , the owner , Richard , told us they are having a concert night and kitchen was already closed. We were so hungry and weasked for suggestions in the neighborhood. Richard was super great to us and asked his kitchen to make us a cheeseboard withsalamis, blue cheese, pepper, etc , and invited us in to enjoy their concert. Thank you so much, Richard!! Signals Brewery was a much anticipated outing and it did not disappoint. Both times we were there we had a patio table by the... river, lovely views with lots of space around the tables and very clean. The patio would make an excellent venue for a weddingreception or any large gathering. Our server on both occasions was excellent and engaging. Although the menu is limited, eachdish we had was well presented, quite tasty and well portioned. A scenic drive to and from Signals Brewery adds to what makesthis a great place to enjoy lunch or dinner in a wonderful setting. Read more
