This Jimmy Johns (and every other Iowa City area jjs location) IS HORRIBLE. I?ve had so many bad experiences that it?s actually... crazy its still operating. Most recently we ordered delivery and they did not have the sandwich we ordered online, so theycalled to ask what other sandwich I wanted. I ordered a #4 with cheese and no tomatoes and it came with no cheese and was ingeneral the grossest looking sandwich i?ve ever seen in my life. Basically only bread and like one piece of ripped up meat on italong with mayo and gross looking lettuce. My husband and I bought JJ for lunch today... this is the last we get JJ at any Iowa City location. We ordered the Vito, the... Beach Club with extra mayo, and a large diet coke...only to be told the fountain diet coke was out and they only had bottles. Sowe asked for bottle diet coke. "Uh, we actually don't have diet coke at all." We just asked for our sandwiches. After we leftand were on the highway heading home, my husband starts eating his Beach Club, only to discover there was absolutely no meat atall on his sandwich. As you can see by the receipt, we didnt order a meat-free Beach Club. Yet, that is what we received.Apparently, they were out of meat as well as diet coke. Thank you for stealing from your customers. Ordered online and it took them OVER an hour to get it to me. I called at the 50 minute mark asking what the status was and was... put on hold for five minutes. Then when the person came back said "I can give you twelve dollars off your next order". I justwanted my food at that point. It's always something like this at this location. I love Jimmy John?s and would always go to this one. My last trip they charged me $22 for a sub, drink and chips. It was $12... then when I got to the window they were out of fountain pop so they asked if bottle would work. I said yea, the lady at thewindow mumbled the amount and didn?t give me a receipt. Once it hit my account I saw they charge me $10 for that pop. I calledthat night and the manager said ?that happened before I clocked in you need the morning manager?. I said okay. I then messagedJimmy John?s online and they received the message and never got back to me. I will never go back to this Jimmy John?s as theystole $10 and never responded to it. Read more

This location is the absolute worst. A couple weeks ago I ordered online and it took over an hour for my meal to delivered.... Today, I leave work to pick up instead to not have that happen again only to have NO MEAT on my sandwich. The only reason fortwo stars is because they gave me a refund. Read more

Do you ever wonder why this location has zero business during lunch rush? Not a single car in the drive-thru? It?s because the... employees are rude, mostly. Just went through drive-thru the other day and the employee immediately stuck her head out of thewindow and yelled at me because my car was too loud. Just rolled up the window and left. The other reason is incompetence.Stopped ordering online because they straight up won?t make the sandwich. You have to go in and tell them you have a pickup andonly then will they make it. Please don?t torture yourself by going to this location. Pick any other one. Seriously. Read more

We went through the drive through today and received some of the worst service I've experienced at a fast food restaurant. When... we were ordering the woman taking the order was rude and made it clear that we were inconveniencing her with our order (not adifficult order, just two meals). We got to the window and she didn't say a word to us, took our payment, and handed it back.After a few minutes she handed over a bag of sandwiches, no chips or drinks. We waited a minute or two, giving her time toslowly get the next items. She didn't get them, just asked us "what are you waiting for?" My husband told her that we werewaiting for chips and drinks. She took a minute and grabbed a bag of chips and slapped them over and slowly proceded to get adrink. She handed that over and turned back. My husband asked for my chips and drink and the process continued over. After allwas done, we thanked her and she didn't respond. I got my sandwich and found that it wasn't what I asked for (extra pickles andmayo and was given lite mayo and pickles - this was incorrectly entered by the same woman, not the fault of the sandwichmakers). My husband's drink was extremely watered down that it had to be dumped down the drain. Unfortunately, this was theworst experience we have had at this location, but it is consistently poor service. The staff are frequently unpleasant and theynever improve. It is clear that there are no professional expectations at this location. We've already put in reviews on theJimmy John's site, just wanted to make others aware that it is better to avoid this location until something changes. Read more

Jimmy John's has a whole is great and I will continue to be a customer at other locations, but this one is a joke. The staff... here has been degrading over the last 18 months and just recently, I went to get a quick sandwich on my lunch break. There were2 cars in front of me, which would usually be about 5 minutes for other JJ locations. I waited over 20 minutes before I had toleave to get back to work. They had gotten to just 1 of the cars in front of me in that time. Read more
