Mamey is a great place for a date or to have a chat with friends and family. The place is nicely decorated. The atmosphere is... speakeasy and modern. Our food & drink choices were all Wonderful and tasty. The meat was cooked right, the fish was soft andthe rum cake, oh the rum cake was definitely the best part! A must try if you're at Mamey.. 4/5 due to the prices for the sizeof the plates. Wish they were just a tad less expensive. Overall, had a good experience. Read more

This restaurant had a variety of cultural dishes which were great tasting. The restaurant was extremely busy! We had... reservations, thankfully, which allowed for seating right away. We were seated outdoors, which is a covered terrace. Greatambiance which makes for a great ladies/social/date night. Cocktails were amazing. The restaurant was very busy, while ourserver was great, we weren't attended to often. Also, if you prefer a more 'relaxing' vibe, go to the hotels 3rd floor. Reason didn?t earn a one star was due to grouper dish. Ordered six dishes which ended up being over $150. Shishito peppers -... fried but not crispy. Very ordinary and easy to make. Tuna tostones felt couple days old with soggy tostones on bottom. Tomatopurée did not go with the dish either. Vietnamese chicken ceasar salad was appalling. Overcook chicken with no flavor andnothing about it was Vietnamese. Chef needs to repay a visit there apparently. Grouper was good but not worth $42. You can finda similar dish like that for $7 in asia or $17 max in other restaurants. Desserts were average. Read more
