Decided to try this place for the first time and after the experience we won't be going back. The decor was a bit bland, they... had a few pictures up on the wall and some plants but that was it. The fellow serving us seemed uninterested and wasn't toofriendly for most of our dinner. I don't think he smiled until closer to us paying the bill (closer to tip time I guess). Thefood was just average, not bad but lacking a bit in flavor and WAY too expensive for what you get. We were seated at a tablewith a window which was nice right up to the time 2 folks went outside and decided to smoke right in front of it. It wasn'training so why they decided to park there to smoke was odd and to be honest a bit rude. We believe one of the folks wasconnected to the restaurant because he was walking around and going to the kitchen at times. You would think if he was he wouldvalue the customers a bit more than that. Close to the end of the meal the server came over and said their machine was down andwe needed to pay cash. That was strange and forced one of us to leave the restaurant to go to a cash machine. I wouldn't go back to this place. The pizza was fine, but it took 40 minutes for them to bring out a salad. Also, a male staff... who seems to be an owner was rude; he literally dropped off the salad to the table without saying anything. He ignored our tableeven when I intentionally made an eye contact with him. None of the other staff checked our table until the very end when weasked for a bill. What kind of service is this? Had a Great dinner last night at That Table..a real family based restaurant with great, friendly, accommodating service and the... food was very good. The porrions were generous and very tasty. The Alfredo was not quite to my wife's liking but theyimmediately made it right to her liking and it turned out great. My Spaghetti Amalfi was excellent. We had a great Sangria too.The best..was their cannoli for dessert. They were The Best cannolis we have ever had in Vancouver..home made..and we told themso. The food was amazing! We are a big fan of Italian cuisine and always on hunt for good Italian food here. It's so near to our... place and real authentic Italian!
