For dinner: calamari to start, NY strip and apple tart. Service was good..attentive and polite. I have worked in the... restaurant industry in the kitchen: Calamari..small portion, fwell seasoned flour , fairly crisp. Not hot when served but ok. NY strip: $38.00 execution was good.. cooked to correct doneness but not as advertised: red wine demi..lets face it..that waspowdered gravy and not a hint of red wine flavour. Veggies were crisp, fres and not overcooked although no seasoning, butteretc. I appreciate the freshly made mash potatoes that were seasoned properly. The steak..at best was AA, not even AAA orPrime..maybe even A. At $38.00 for 10oz you be the judge. This is on the owners for cheaping out or the chef trying to cutcosts. Hint: your flagship item should start with the best grade can buy and still make your 30% profit. Dessert wasalright..nothing that exceeded but barely met expectations. Overall I was generous..gave it 4 stars which was benefit of thedoubt. Other people in our party orders chicken..cooked and seasoned properly and to order. Overall not bad but as anestablishment you know what you need to improve. Those in the know see all your moves. Read more

I had been raving to my friend about Apres for about two years. She finally made the commute down with me, only to be utterly... and completely disappointed. The wine we ordered by the glass tasted as though the bottle had been open for weeks. It did nottaste as it should have. We also shared a main, which had a hair in it. We alerted our server who then offered us a dessertinstead. We were not planning on having dessert so we respectfully declined. They also did not have any gluten free desserts sothat wasn?t even an option for us. The bill came out and the supervisor offered to take 15% off the meal in compensation for thehair. This amounted to a total of $2 taken off of the bill for a meal that was no longer edible. At this point we did not evenfeel comfortable bringing up the spoiled wine. The supervisor stated that they had offered us dessert and so that is why theyonly took 15% off. This makes no sense to me. After uncomfortably bringing this up, the meal was compensated for. I feelembarrassed for bringing my friend to this establishment. The quality of food and drinks has gone down insurmountably. Read more

Another disappointment Our family got together for brunch last Sunday, the venue is very welcoming and pleasant however the food... is mediocre to say the least, can't believe how bad a lot of restaurants have become lately. My breakfast consisted of two paletiny eggs, a couple of sausages with no colour and rather tastless and toast, jam was no where to be seen. The race to thebottom continues, won't be back. Read more

Great patio and huge restaurant, enjoyed the golf course view. The parking area is huge. Staff are friendly and attentive. The... menu has not many options. Food decorations were very nice but quality of food was not impressed. I had a Tandoori Salmon, thecurried cauliflower and chickpea were tasty and flavorful but the salmon was dry and not really fresh. Read more

We know the golf course well, we got married there. The food has always been good. The staff are friendly and management is... responsive if anything is not to your liking. We wish more people would visit in the Spring and Fall so they would considerstaying open year round. ???? They have specials on certain nights. So far Prime Rib is back on Fridays. My favourite. ???? Read more
