As I tend to always specify, restaurants start out at a 3 with me and then can get better or worse (it's honestly difficult to... get worse, because I consider food being edible the 3!). Local Diner is one of the few fives I'll give. It's not the mostunique food you'll ever find - and that's honestly what it excels at. It is not reinventing the wheel (or meal, in this case),as it's menu is something you'll find something similar to at a variety of other breakfast locations: omelets, skillets, eggs, pancakes, etc. There are also burgers and sandwiches for lunch, which i have not tried admittedly. What it does do is serve thatfood extraordinarily well. I'm very happy with the quality of the food that's provided, and the quantity, as well as just thereasonable nature of the food provided. Service: almost always a positive experience, although the location is almost alwaysbusy. You'll get taken care of though! Atmosphere: I love the atmosphere of old diners from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. They do agreat job of a well-loved diner that is well-maintained and clean. If you've got a sweet tooth, I can't recommend their shakesenough. Read more

Delicious breakfast in Coppell. Tucked away in a quieter part of town, Local Diner definitely brings ?diner? vibes with its... decor. Very clean, well staffed and everyone is so friendly. I ordered the French toast plate, perfectly grilled, largeportions. Coffee is good too. Just what I needed to start my morning! Read more

Delicious! Who doesn?t love a good meal at the diner? The decor is nostalgic and the team is quite welcoming. I arrived at 1 pm... and there wasn't a wait. I had the patty melt on rye with French fries and a root bear float. The meal was hot and fresh. Thefloat was memorable. There's nothing like real ice cream and root beer. Overall, a grand dining experience. Read more

Had a great experience at this 1950s-inspired diner. The decor and menu options were what I was hoping for, the staff was... friendly, and the establishment was clean. I was disappointed, though, that the milkshakes came in a styrofoam cup (I wasinformed by the server that they always are). I had been really looking forward to it coming in a traditional soda fountainmilkshake glass because it's definitely the place for it. Read more

6-24-22- I ordered the bacon cheese burger with fries & a sweet tea to drink. The burger was fresh and tasted good as well as... the fries and sweet tea. The staff was very friendly and the diner atmosphere was very cool. Read more

?????????? "Generous portions, consistently delicious and warm service" Their fluffy pancakes and biscuits keep me coming back.... If you're not sure what to order the Denver Omlette and Garden Omlette are a great option. You can also add a pancake as a sideinstead of toast or an english muffin. Service here is very friendly and has that "How are you hun?" feel. Because of theirlovely staff and fast service, I always leave happy and full. Read more

Very cute typical 50's looking diner, playing Rock'n'Roll music. I really liked it. The prices are very good and the quality of... the food too. Server's came quickly and were very nice. If I come back to the area, that's will be my go-to breakfast place. Read more
