Overall, experience was fine. Service was quick, staff was very friendly. The place has a similar vibe to Chipotle as far as the... style of how you select your food. Everything tasted fresh, seemed healthy, and portions were good. I just felt like there was alot going on, and it was overall just OK as far as flavor goes. It is perhaps that I built my own bowl instead of a standardmenu item. Between the multiple choices of dips and dressings, there were just a lot of competing flavor profiles. I?m so happy I discovered Cava! It?s like a Mediterranean Chipotle lol. Everything is very tasty and fresh. The staff there is... incredibly helpful in explaining your food options. James has been so welcoming since the first time I walked in and continuesto show me great customer service. This is my first time ordering from here and it definitely will not be my last. I ordered the Builderone grain bowl with the... saffron basmati rice, grilled chicken, tomatoes and cucumbers, feta and olives. Everything is amazing and has wonderfulflavor. I also love how crisp their pita chips are and they?re not soggy or extra crispy. The dessert bars are very good,moist and very soft. This place is outrageous!! Proof below, how is it a $10 bowl become $20?? I get the up charge and am willing to pay for it. How... do you charge me $10 extra when u barely gave me a 1/2 a scoop? When ask, a manager rudely said we inform you of the up charge!Yes, I except but an up charge is $2-$4. Why $10? She had no explanation and didn?t offer any solution. When ask, well can Isun it out for a chicken $10 then, she said no and told me to email corp. I email them, no response other than a generic oh wewill reply when we good and ready. I didn?t ask for a full refunds, I ask for $5 over charge, oh and they didn?t give my kidsjuices for their meal either. The ticket is below, see it for yourself last item. So if lamb an up charge why not make a lambbowl $15. Aye so common folks like me can order $10 for chicken and $15 for lamb. Poor business practice!! I had wanted to try this place out I tried this out for the first time with a friend. She told me she loves the food! I concur!... Delicious! I tasted every flavorful ingredient! My braised lamb was tender and moist! The different hummus spread roasted redpepper, traditional and harissa all mixed well! There was not one thing I did not like. I also enjoyed the cucumber mint andstrawberry drink. There was no high fructose corn syrup to mask how bad the drink would be withoutit. So I've been meaning to try Cava for awhile now, and today I finally did!! While the food was good, the customer service at this... location was PHENOMENAL!! Seeing as it was my first time, I had a few questions and the two ladies helping me were SO kind,patient, and helpful!! They made the BEST suggestions and went out of their way to make sure that I had a great experience!! Ihad a lot going on and now that I'm thinking about it, I don't remember what their names were, which is unfortunate, becausethey absolutely deserve to be recognized!! They truly went above and beyond for me, and after the day I had, it truly meant somuch. I am so grateful for their kindness. Anyway - ON TO THE FOOD!! I had a greens and grains bowl with the Superfood greensand the Saffron Basmati Rice. For my protein I got the Honey Harissa Chicken. For my toppings I did the pita crisps, tomato andcucumber, pickled onions, tomato and onion, fire roasted corn, and Persian cucumbers. I got a variety of sauces, and I got themall on the side, (just in case I didn't like any of them). SO glad that I did that! There were a few I wasn't a fan of, but theones that I liked and ended up putting in my bowl were the harissa spread, skhug, garlic dressing, and the hot harissavinaigrette!! As someone who likes at least a little bit of spice, I think I had the perfect combination of sauces for mypreference, so FYI - if you're like me, DO NOT SKIP the skhug, the harissa spread, and vinaigrette!! Then if you want, add somegarlic dressing to balance it all out. SO GOOD!! There were SO many textures and flavor profiles going on in this bowl andsomehow, it all worked together perfectly!!
