Smoked salmon chowder was great. The temperature could have been more warm. Blackened Halibut tacos were excellent. Views and... setting are rustic remote wilderness very well done. Service felt rushed. Brought my check while I was still eating and hadn'tasked for it. Read more
Exquisite food and friendly staff! My husband and I ate here after a long day of chasing fish. They have gluten sensitive... options and vegetarian options. Everything we had here exceeded our expectations, the prime rib was tender and juicy and I don'teven like meat. The kale & beet salad was perfect! I have never had a salad with the perfect amount of everything, usually thereare too many nuts and dressing but it was perfect! Definitely recommend for anyone! Read more
Fantastic food and wonderful service! The staff is outstanding and the food ... Wow. We stayed here for 3 nights and every day... was awesome. The Salmon Dip and Salmon dish was my favorite. The Halibut came in a close second. Breakfast is also wonderful.It's hard to save room for dessert, but the berry cobbler is so good! Read more

Saw great reviews and didn't realize that it was a cruise lodge. Our first indication of trouble was seeing the giant cruise... buses in the parking lot. Since they shuttle the cruisers there, they can hold them hostage with prices through the roof andvery little in the form of services (although, they were probably way understaffed when we stopped by). Five star views fromthe deck but $40 for a way overcooked small piece of halibut, a splatter of bland mashed potatoes and a couple pieces of (tasty)tomatoes is not justified even by Alaskan standards.
