Reviews for China City in Cooper City, FL
This place is gross? fried wonton had no meat in it, I ordered an egg roll and got shrimp in it, and the person that ate it is... allergic to shell fish. I am very disappointed, I ordered the broccoli and garlic sauce, and got dish water with old whiterice.. wonton soup was spicy? sorry but never going again, there?s a reason this place was empty when I walked in. Good Cantonese and Szechuan dishes. Everything we had was fresh and yummy. This is the only sit-down Chinese restaurant we ever... go to in Broward county. They recently started burning incense by the front door idol. My husband likes the fragrance but Idon?t. But you don?t smell it after a couple of minutes. We have several favorites from their menu. We like everything we?ve hadhere. Read more
Absolutely love this place. The wings are so delicious and crispy, I?d rather come here than any other Chinese food place in... town. The General Tso is my favorite meal to get as well, it?s like orange chicken but it taste like Home made orange chicken. Read more
I?ve been going to this places for years. Honestly this is the best place to get awesome Chinese food and the best chicken wings... in broward. Their best dish I always get is their General Tao?s chicken. You can order it in mild, medium or spicy. Also theirchicken wings really should be called jumbo chicken wings because every time I get an order of them they are huge and perfectlycrispy on the outside and very moist and juicy on the inside. I highly recommend this place for take out and/or dine in. Read more
A little over a year ago, the old owner finally sold this spot. She was nice, but she had the habit of putting the ground pork... on a tray on a table in the dining area while her family made dumplings with it by hand. Her son didn?t fill water glasses untilasked, then he?d touch the top of your glass. So glad the new owners are clean and courteous. I visited tonight and the placehad six out of nine tables filled with young families. They had a brisk and steady stream of takeout orders coming through. There was a young woman and a young man taking orders and being pleasant. Food came out quickly and was good. I orderedCantonese Chow Mein, pan-fried. This dish requires the right type of noodles, cooked til al dente, then fried til the bottom ofthe noodles is light and crispy. This cake of noodles is covered with a gravy-soaked mixture of char siu pork (bbq pork, glazedwith a five spice and honey mixture that varies from state to state), chicken, shrimp, snow peas, water chestnuts, baby corn, bok choy, broccoli and mushrooms. Tonight the gravy was just right, with just a hint of garlic, so you could taste the crispnessof the noodles. The only complaint I had was the gravy was so good I wish there had been more of it. But they didn?t want tomake the noodles soggy. All in all, I?m glad the new owners are hanging in there. It was time for a fresh change. Keep it up. Read more
