I wanted to use my coupons and was told I could only use 1 at a time. Waited for over 20 minutes for fresh chicken and found 1... breast, 2 thighs raw in the middle. When Popeyes opened in Cookeville, I couldn't wait to try it. The first time I ate there, I was so happy with the food and... service. I recommended it to everyone. Every visit after that was progressively worse! They have a hard time getting an orderright, and the quality is hit or miss, or they are out of something. Sometimes it's all three of those things! I believe theonly thing they sell less than 2 hours before closing is scraps. Tonight was the first time I had been there in about a year. Ifigured they might have gotten their act together. NOPE! . I was very hungry and, as I was elsewhere in town, I thought I wouldsave time by downloading the app and get my order started. Setting up an account and placing the order went smoothly. Once Iarrived it took a very long time for the person running the register to acknowledge my presence, I was the only one in thedinning room, and that was only because I started speaking. I told her I had a mobile order, and she had to ask a coworker whowas also clueless. He in turn asked the manager. The manager pulled three receipts off the printer right by the register thefirst girl was "running" The manager finally told me they didn't have any bone in chicken for the 10 piece family meal Iordered. That was the problem the last time I was there, nearly a year ago. She said they couldn't give a refund and that Iwould have to get it from the app or something. I asked, what are we going to do about it? She said they'd have some tomorrow.She handed me the receipt. Update 10/12/2022? My son went to Popeyes tonight and ordered a chicken strip meal. Paid for extra sauces. Even asked the lady... working the drive thru if the sauces were in the bag. She said, ?Yes.? He gets home and there are no sauces in the bag.???? 10/11/2022 Never fails. Either my order is wrong, the dining room is closed or there is some type of ghetto drama. Everytime I step foot in this location. Ordered spicy chicken tenders with my shrimp. 0 tenders. Nada. Not a damn spicy tender insite. Read more
I got the butterfly shrimp basket with Mac & cheese & a large Dr. Pepper & it was the worst order I have ever ordered in my... life. Shrimp was literally hard as a rock & the Mac & cheese looked like it sat all day long & they scarped it from the pan. Theonly good thing was the biscuit & Dr. Pepper. I will not be back! Read more

Got the chicken strip meal. The chicken strips taste old and very dry. Tiny piece of chicken in the middle of a lot of crust.... My husband and I went there for the first time. We ordered the spicy chicken. It wasn't spicy at all, so we thought it was... possibly the regular. We asked a worker that turned out to be the GM and he went and made us his own special recipe. Two extraspicy chicken breasts with two biscuits. It was so delicious! You have never gotten my order correct. Maybe twice since you?ve been open. Always giving me normal tenders when I?m more than... willing and always have to wait 30 minutes anyways for ALL SPICY and YOU STILL GIVE US NORMAL. No matter who does managementy?all cannot seem to get your sh*t together. Sometimes no biscuits sometimes no sauce sometimes no spicy tenders at all.
