I always love coming here. I've been here many times over the years and I e always had great experiences from the food to the... staff and the environment. There's several places to sit and eat. You have the outside patio which is decorated beautifully.Then you have the upstairs which is more of a classy but fun bar area and tables. Then there's the classic finer diningavailable downstairs. They have a great menu and lots to choose from no matter the variety you seek (for the most commonstuff). I've tried so many dishes and we absolutely love them all. I was in town for business, and came in based on my hotel?s recommendation. I ordered a full rack of lamb and two drinks and the... bill came to less than $50. It was so good, I came back a second night and ordered the same exact thing. The atmosphere isupscale yet low key if that makes sense. I can?t wait until my manager sees my expense report. I?m expecting something along thelines of, you really like lamb, huh? The truth is, this place was just that good. Read more
We stopped in at about 4:45pm and were seated immediately. They have 2 levels of indoor seating, a patio area & a rooftop area.... The seating was very clean and organized for the incoming guest. We chose to seat indoors this evening. We started with theFried Green Tomatoes for an appetizer and it was delicious. My wife had the Fried Catfish, I had the Bone-in Ribye (medium rare)& both were cooked excellent. Our server was very polite & informative with our orders. She made sure to check in with usregularly, which I appreciated. We ended sharing a slice of Lemon Cello that was very flavorful. Overall great experience. Fun little cajun restaurant. The food was mostly authentic to Louisiana cuisine. We got the fried green tomatoes: the slices... were a bit thick but otherwise tasted yummy, the cajun sampler: the gumbo was served with way too much rice for our taste, thejambalaya had good flavor and the etoufee was the closest to authentic of the three, and the shrimp poboy which was good aswell. Wait staff was polite and mostly attentive. We were seated quickly on the upper balcony and it was a pleasant day for it.Dessert was bread pudding which was a tasty way to end the meal. Read more
Nice joint! Came to town on business and this spot was recommended. The beers were good, the food was good and filling.... Recommend trying the gator bites!! We came right around 515pm and it was perfect as we missed the rush of people. Seatingupstairs was a little tight for my liking, but overall I recommend trying it out. They have a huge menu so there is definitelysomething for everyone. Read more
This is mine and my husband's "anniversary" restaurant. We always celebrate our dating anniversary here. 2020 was awful. And to... end it, "our" restaurant closed due to a fire. I truly thought we would never get to eat here again. Well, never say "never." Iwas so happy when Crawdaddy's announced they would be reopening. We didn't get to come right away. But the wait was worth it.Last night was the best experience we have had to date at Crawdaddy's. Don't let the large amount of people waiting outsidescare you off. We were seated within 15 minutes. Our server, Nicole, was wonderful. Every person I saw working in there wasprofessional and working non-stop the entire time. It was really nice to see since the service while dinning out has suffered alot from the pandemic at so many restaurants. The food came out quick and was delicious. We had the shrimp dip. My black andbleu cesar salad was so flavorful. I can't remember what my husband had, but he ate every bite which is rare for him. (maybemango mahi?) He hardly ever finishes an entire meal.
