I visited here on Thursday & I arrived by 2:20pm. I ordered Pot Roast w/2 Sides & Dessert. VERY DISAPPOINTED! SKIMPY PORTION OF... POT ROAST W/LARGE AMOUNT OF FAT IN IT! FOOD WAS BEARLY WARM, ALMOST COLD! IT SEAM LIKE THEY TURNED OFF THE STEAM TABLE THATKEEPS THE FOOD HOT! POT ROAST WAS NOT TENDER & BISCUITS WERE COLD! My first visit- I promise you it won’t be my last! I ordered the meatloaf, Mac and cheese and collard greens- BEST I have ever... had!! My only regret is that I live 40 minutes away- but it will definitely be worth the drive- I would love to see them putfried chicken(other than tenders) on the menu- employees were welcoming, and very friendly. Consistently good southern dining in old town Conyers. Limited menu that changes daily insures a varied selection all week. ... Only open for lunch. Everything is great, but I recommend the meatloaf the mac & cheese, the catfish (so good), Salisburysteak, and the chicken pot pie. The sides are delicious including fried okra kernel corn and green beans. I’m usually too fullfor dessert but everyone says go for it if you can. Read more
