Let me start by saying, I love Captain D's. I was so excited to see that you guys had opened back up! I came on opening day and... the food was great! I came again, food was great, customer service great! So from then on, I expect that same food and serviceon each visit. But the last 2 times I've been there the food was horrible. This time I took pictures! My spicy fish was good,but they had no batter crumbs in the box and I got double fries and some of them were like lukewarm rubber bands and the otherswere rock hard. I ordered my husband a 3 piece fish with a baked potato and green beans. His potatoes was a tan color and reallygummy. That's a premium side, so it costs more! Also, how can you wait in line so long for food thats not fresh? Whats the pointof waiting if the food isnt going to be worth the wait? Anyhow, we don't have a lot of good food places in Conyers. So pleasetake a little more pride in the food the you serve. Read more
We have been here a few times, and they have the best customer service I have experienced for a fast food restaurant. I ordered... grilled white fish, and they didn't have grilled anything. The guy who waited on us apologized and gave us extra food with ourorder. We live in Henry County, but their customer service is worth the drive. Read more
Just reopened after a fire last year. One week opened so they are really trying hard amongst the other fast food chains in the... area who have clearly given up a year ago. Service, attitude, etc. Read more
Update: Finally open,food just as good as it was before,only problem was I asked about the seafood gumbo and was told that don't... have it,today I called just for concern and was told Yes they do have it,I understand it's new staffing but they need to haveknowledge of what they sale. Read more
Can't wait for this location to reopen. My family has been waiting patiently for their delicious hushpuppies. EDIT: Conyers... location has finally reopened and my family and I went opening day. Let me say the staff and management for sure brought their Agame.. the food and service was perfect. We could not have been anymore pleased. The staff was friendly and everyone lookedhappy to be there. My ailing parents were happy to finally have some delicious food and were already talking about when theycould come back. *Two days after our visit on reopening day my parents sent me back for their Wednesday lunch. I ordered the catfish meal with baked potato and coleslaw at around 4pm on 8/5/2021. I asked that they remove the bacon and... leave just the cheese. This was a $12 meal. When I opened the meal I found an old dried out potato with bacon thrown on it (nocheese) that looked like it had been sitting for two weeks and they just reheated. The inside of the potato was actually turningyellowish brown and tasted stale. There were no condiments in the bag i.e. butter, sour cream for the potato?even though nothingcould help. There were 2 real small pieces of over cooked greasy catfish. Not worth the price paid.They were so over cooked youcould have broken your teeth! I ordered a cheesecake and they didn?t put it in. I am visiting from out of town wish I had visited another Captain Ds besides this one! Hush puppies was left off asked for... coleslaw to be placed in a bowl to keep my fish from getting wet that didn?t happen. I called manager placed on long holddecided to go ahead eat was very hungry started to eat my coleslaw and there was a piece of plastic paper in my slaw! No longerwant this food!! Read more
Today I tried Captain D?s Chicken Tenders; they get 1 star, the Chicken is itsy bitsy. I won?t order these again. I ordered... Southern Style Whitefish, Broccoli, and Baked Potato. The fish is a big piece; but the sides are small portions. If you?re aperson with a big appetite, this is not going to fill you up. If you eat this for dinner you?ll need a snack later. But, thefood, and customer service is good. Read more
