I have always absolutely loved this Waffle House I come atleast twice a week, but after tonight I will not be back to this... location. The servers were amazing, but the cook was so rude to us when we walked in we were not aware it was time for them toclean. The cook yelled at us from the stove saying it was disrespectful to sit down when they were cleaning. Keep in mindnothing was being cleaned yet. Sat in there for 45 minutes while one worker cleaned and the other sat on her phone. All I got was a glass of water. Was told it... would be 20 minutes which turned into 45. We?ve got to do better. Never got any food after they said they?d give me a waffle. Read more
This place is awful I waited 15 mins for them to clean tables. Never even acknowledge people were waiting for tables. A group of... kids came in and had to clean there own table to sit. They make you hit one star for reviews on this it?s not even worth onestar . Floors are filthy, trash on floors were they are cooking if this site would let me post pics they would be all over it. Came in Saturday morning to have a nice peaceful breakfast and the music was so loud it was rattling my nerves and I couldn't... hear my buddy talking to me across the table. I told our waitress who turned it down and immediately the lady in charge went andcranked it back up again. RUDE! I won't be back. I came to eat breakfast not go to a country rock concert.... Had a great time as usual. The food was great and there were no issues, despite them being short staffed. What I really liked... was the cook named Cheryl gave my daughter a small bowl of chocolate chips to keep her occupied til our food was done. That wassuper helpful. If you are going to live in the south, you have to visit a Waffle House. I?m not saying they are the best, they are just iconic.... A symbol of breakfast and lunch (unknown to some) done simple and reasonable. The laminated, two side menu offers a limitedoptions of breakfast bowls, hash browns, eggs, sides and yes, waffles. Just don?t be asking for pancakes. Lunch offers even lesswith a few Angus burgers and/or Texas melts. Most seating is wrapped around the cooking area so servers can sling your orderright to you from the grill. Otherwise, booth seating lines the walls. Debbie was our server and she was personable andprofessional, bringing our drinks and food out in a timely manner. The cook this morning was spot on with my sausage, egg,cheese, hash brown bowl. Smoking hot, crispy hash browns nicely topped with melted American cheese, a good heaping of cooked,crumbled Jimmy Dean sausage and scrambled eggs. Food fills the belly but doesn?t empty the wallet.
