Recent house purchase got us calling Conway home and this local cafe and bakery one of our favs. Located in the historic... downtown beautiful Conway and the tranquil Riverwalk, one can stroll the likes of Main Street and reminisce of days gone by.Step into this small town eatery and find a home cooked, made from scratch meal at a reasonable price. Few doors down and onecan peruse fresh doughnuts, cakes, pastries and their famous sour dough bread at the bakery. The Breakfast Plate Special got metwo eggs made to order, home fries substituted for grits at an additional price, a choice of bacon, ham or sausage and their ownsour dough toast. The two over easy eggs were cooked perfect, a nice slice of smoked ham, loved the home fries with cookedpotatoes, peppers and onions and the ever famous sour dough bread. Breakfast was spot on and worth every bite. Service wasfriendly and efficient, even as the early afternoon crowd ebbed and flowed around us. Soon to be regulars here. Read more

My mom grew up in the south so I thought I understood southern hospitality. This bakery and restaurant epitomize unpretentious... neighborhood feels on a Saturday morning. The servers were friendly and gave me a great recommendation for the homemade chickensalad sandwich (the kind with chunks of fresh chicken, crunchy celery and only a little mayo on the softest white bread. It'sexactly how my imaginary southern grandmother would make it). There was a local musician playing country music outside, with hiswife watching him adoringly (couple goals!!). I also appreciate that their side salad was piled high with chunks of freshvegetables. This is obviously the local hangout where people from all walks of life come together to eat among friends. Goodfood and friendly smiles. Read more

Pile up grilled cheese. I felt like Guy Fieri on triple D. What a flavor profile and huge. Homemade fresh cut chips were fried... perfectly. Loaded potato soup had a nice flavor to it. Chocolate pie for desert was a perfect ending. The crust was fabulous. Read more

Nice, clean and bright place with good food (I had French Toast) and efficient & friendly service. The reason for me to drive 23... miles to go there was, essentially, to buy their sourdough bread. The bread was nice BUT it wasn't sourdough. At best, it was onthe lines of brioche. I'm surprised and disappointed that people on the East Coast simply don't understand what sourdough is.Almost every bread that I've tried here has sugar in it. That, really, does get right up my nose...! Read more
