Not impressed. Refried beans and the cheese dip were the best part of the meal as far as we were concerned. My son got three... tacos, they charged me for the meal but he only got tacos. I got the pick any three meal. I chose a taco, a beef enchilada andthe chicken tortilla soup. The tacos, for both of us, barely had any meat. The enchilada barely had any feeling and almost nocheese on top. And I don't know what kind of soup that was but it was not chicken tortilla. I'm never a fan of rice typicallythat Mexican restaurants anyway, but I can usually add the salsa and make it edible. That was not the case here. I also orderedstrawberry lemonade, and what I got was strawberry water. The sweet waitress did exchange that for a Coke. She was the best partof the experience. My son and I decided we won't be going back. Was not worth the $50 I spent. Read more

The chips are huge and pair amazingly with the salsa/queso. The waiters are super friendly. The spices they use blend amazingly... with the food they make, one of my favorite Mexican restaurants ever. Read more

Decided to go out for a occasional beer. This was my first time at this restaurant any On the Border a matter of fact. Upon... handing over my completely valid ID I was told they would not be able to serve me because they weren?t ?comfortable? with my ID.They were refusing me service because they could not validate my completely legitimate ID, which they were trained to do.Because they failed to do their job correctly I called an on duty law enforcement officer to come up to the restaurant so hecould validate my date of birth. I informed the manager I was doing this and asked if she would serve me afterwards and shereplied with a dramatic ?we will see about it?, and stormed off. The officer confirmed my age to the manager and I was served awhile later. After all my troubles the manager did not come apologize or say a word! I don?t expect a single item for free butwhen you make a mistake in a place of business especially with a customer it doesn?t matter how old they are it?s your place toapologize and make it right. Do better! Read more
