We went in to Imagine Burgers on an early Saturday night, at first I thought I had walked into a restaurant that had forgotten... to flip their open/closed signed because there was absolutely nobody there? Including Wait staff? we quietly sat at a table asthe Beatles were finishing up a music video on the television playing closest to us and shortly after, the waitress presentedherself. She was kind, caring and very knowledgeable about the menu and very patient with our very hungry 3 year old who hadjust waken up from a nap. We decided to start with a Fried Pickle Appetizer (Because, how could you go wrong?) and let me justsay, these were some of the best fried pickles that I have ever had! Crispy, Crunchy, not overly seasoned and when both into,just a flavor that would overwhelm one?s senses to a point of no return. Shortly after, our entree hit the table and MAN OHMAN?. A juicy, Mushroom and Swiss smash burger that was seasoned and grilled to perfection on two somehow crunchy but moistBuns. Not only two thumbs up AND Five stars for the food! This was my first time here. The food was great! I built my own burger and loved it. The bourbon mustard and avocado were... delicious on my burger. I also enjoyed the cajun fries. Wonderful small-town burger joint! Smash burgers, homemade buns, and very creative menu items. The Triple Double was awesome!... BEST fried pickles I've ever had. The decor is a simple country feel, we loved the barnwood accent wall and large ball jarglasses! We came on a Saturday @630, they were steady-busy. Service was quick, apps came out fast, food was rather fast as well.Abbie S. was very pleasant, prompt with checking in, took good care of us. All around great experience for our 1st time, welldone! I cannot rave enough about the food here. Everything I tried was delicious. I was having a hard time choosing between the... Falafel Burger and the Crushed Bean Burger so we ended ordered a falafel appetizer and the bean burger. Excellent way to have ataste of both. The falafel balls were crispy and hot while the tzatziki sauce was creamy cucumbery cool. Now on to the mainevent. I've had my share of black bean burgers so I know that they can easily go wrong, which is why I was on the fence aboutordering it. This one was 100% right. The patties were smashed thin so they had a nice crispy edge, the candied jalapeñosadded a sweet heat and the house chips gave it some additional crunch served on a chewy homemade bun. I managed to steal a fewof my husbands fresh cut fries and the only way I can describe them is that if you ever went to the Hoosier Drive-In(Huntington) in the late 80s these are just like the ones they used to serve. Definitely brought back some memories there. Itdoes seem like they are still working out a few kinks between seating and keeping the kitchen running smoothly so go in with anopen mind and be prepared for a small wait. Amazing food!! Service was great! The carrot dip and bun chips are a must to try as an appetizer. Seriously one of the best... things I've eaten in years. I ordered the Sweet Heat Burger. It. Was.
