We stopped by to try the crawfish. They were small (that's why I only gave 4-stars), but had good flavor and texture. I like... that you can choose your flavor and choose mild/medium/hot. The food passing by to other tables all looked good! We would try itagain. This restaurant is counter service and has a drive thru. Read more
Great food! I got the catfish and shrimp basket, my buddy came with me and he spent a little less than 20$ to eat and I paid... just a little more than 20$. More than reasonable for the quality of the meal. The fries were delicious and crispy, the fish wastender and juicy without being slimy, the shrimp was tasty, crispy and juicy. Only gripe I could have is the cocktail sauce waslight on the horseradish but other than that, Absolutely delicious, would recommend. Read more

I tried The Catch for the first time today. I've been to Conroe many times and finally decided to stop by with hopes of... satisfying my fried shrimp craving. The online ordering was down so I called my order in and spoke to Eleana. Eleana was verypatient and accommodating as I told her my order. I picked up my order about 15 minutes later. When I entered the restaurantthe food was ready, this is always a plus I was thinking about ordering beingnets but I had forgotten to include the beignetwhen I phoned in my order. It took a few minutes for them to prepare them to go. Eleana was very friendly in person and made sure to include enough condiments since this was my first time trying the food from The Catch. When I got home to eat, thingsdidn't go so smoothly. I had 3 orders for 3 people including myself. Off the house favorite menu I order the Grilled JumboShrimp (Served with 2 Side Items, Garlic Bread and 2 Hush Puppies), Catch Fried Fish (2) & Jumbo Shrimp (4), and the mediumJumbo Shrimp Served with Catch Fries and 2 Hush Puppies. My home was 5 minutes away so I was able to get home quickly enough toeat the food hot. My girlfriend's catfish and shrimp wasn't good. The shrimp was going bad and made her stomach start to hurt.My fries was under cooked, but my shrimp was okay. The Grilled Shrimp combo was okay. I decided to return the Catfish andShrimp combo, because it wasn't edible. The lady at the drive thru assured me it was from a batch from today. However it had aspoiled scent to it and tasted like shrimp that's going bad. The lady refunded my purchase. The beingnets was good. Mine was alittle under baked however. Perhaps today was an off day, I was looking forward to enjoying an awesome meal, but The JumboShrimp was the only thing that was edible out of my meal. The fries was trash, it tasted stale, it was not appetizing at all.The hush puppies were dry and tasted stale. This was the consensus among all 3 of us so it's just not my taste buds. F Read more

The vibe and atmosphere is similar to a Skippers... nothing fancy but, 'works. The service is good. The staff was friendly and... the manager comes out to bring you your order, that was a nice touch. The food was tasty, not as spicy as I was anticipatingbut, delicious nonetheless. I ordered the Cajun Special plate... it was great but, I wish I would've opted for the catfish to beblackened instead of fried. Still, I'd recommend this place. If anything, go there for the key lime pie, it was yummy. Read more
