I have found my new fav restaurant! I came in Saturday for the 1st time and had chorizo hash!!! That's something I'D make. And... they executed it great. Today I thought I'd try supper... the pot roast is ON PUNTO! The flavors don't taste like typicalrestaurant food. Second time here! I love the menu here. Equal parts comfort food and healthy options. I will say, most restaurants heavily salt... or even over salt their food and that is not the case here. Tried a new place (to us) while in Conroe. The place is spacious and inviting, with quirky decor on the walls and ceiling. The... staff was friendly and attentive. The portions are large and very tasty! I was double impressed upon discovering that themashed potatoes were home made! Made the taste all the more enjoyable. Monday @ 11am, ordered Lamb Shank, Shrimp and Grit, and Chicken Fried Steak. The last two are good but the lamb was EXCEPTIONAL!... It was tender, it was juicy, it tasted divine. By noon all the locals start filling out the place and only two tables were emptyby the time we left at 1pm. Attentive service, lovely staff. Will go again to try other items on the menu. Read more
